This is my Khajiiti NightBlade one shot magicka build I designed for PVP but I would like you guys to look over it and let me know if it looks any good and comment the changes you would make.

Dark cloak boosts my damage because I am Khajiit with extra stealth damage

Skills:
Bar one (dual wield) single target DPS nuke
1. Soul swallow - siphoning tree - soul swallow is cheap and does decent damage
2. Impale - assassination tree - impale is my single target finishing move
3. Teleport strike - assassination tree - teleport strike is the gap closer and is part of my stun lock rotation
4. Concealed weapon - shadow tree - concealed weapon has high DPS and is part of my stun lock rotation
5. Dark cloak - shadow tree - cleanse and escape and is also part of my stun lock rotation
U. Soul harvest - assassination tree - dps nuke

Bar two (restoration staff) AOE bar
1. Grim focus - assassination tree - damage increase
2. Piercing Mark - assassination tree - damage increase
3. Sap essence OR crippling grasp - siphoning tree - sap essence is spammed as my AOE finisher but cripple is good for escaping
4. Healing ward - restoration staff - main healing source
5. Proximity detonation - assault - main AOE DPS
U. Ice comet - mages guild - AOE finishing move after detonation

With the skills I try to make sure I have at least one of each class skill (shadow, siphoning and assassination) to benefit from all the passives

Attributes:
magicka - after reached health goal rest of points go here
Health - minimum 20k WITHOUT cryodil buff
Stamina - idle

Champion points:
Blue:
30 - apprentice tree - elfborn - spell critical damage
1 - apprentice tree - spell precision - increase spell crit
Rest - ritual tree - thaumaturge - increase damage

Green:
Half of points - tower tree - magician - spells are cheaper to cast
Other half of points - lover tree - Arcanist - increases magicka recovery

Red:
Half of points - steed tree - spell shield - spell resistance
Other half of points - lady tree - light armour focus - increases armour with 5 or more light armour equipped

Gear: I need help choosing the gear - the gear I want increases spell damage and max magicka and needs to be a mixture of different sets like martial knowledge and cryodils light but I left the gear because I didn't want to mess up the build with the wrong gear so please suggest some gear sets I can use. The only gear I have confirmed is:
2 torugs pacts swords 100% argonion style for the badass looks (spell damage)

Mundus stone:
The Mage or The Atronach

How I play:
If I see a single target:
1. Switch to restoration staff bar and Mark target and grim focus myself
2. Switch to dual wield bar
3. Teleport strike in stunning him/her and dealing decent damage
4. Stealth and concealed weapon keeping him/her in stun even longer and immobilising him/her
5. Stealth up and use soul harvest ultimate for DPS
6. By this point the target has just got out of stun and is already under half health
7. Spam soul swallow which will quickly lower his health
8. Spam impale for the finisher when he/her has under 25% health
if they make a runner repeat steps 2-7

If I see a group:
1. Buff up grim focus try and charge ultimate with ranged staff attacks
2. Get their attention by teleporting in on one of their mates
3. Stealth away and hide and charge proximity detonation
4. Quickly teleport into the group (preferably the centre)
5. If proximity detonation works well use ice comet
6. If anyone is still alive (unlikely) spam sap essence for AOE
7. If single targets are left alive soul swallow them to death

If I get in trouble:
1. Drink magicka potion
2. Crippling grasp the enemy slowing them down and speeding me up by 40%
3. Cloak (now I'm cloaking with 65% extra speed with concealed weapon and cripples speed buff) so I cannot be caught up with and I'm invisible so they dunno where I'm going

This is where I cannot choose between sap essence and crippling grasp because crippling grasp is amazing for the speed buff on me and the speed debuff on my enemy so if they make a runner I can slow them down while speeding myself up vice versa when escaping but Sap essence is great for AOE situations where I just need a quick, simple and easy AOE finishing move so I can spam Sap. So the choice between the two is hard, personally I choose crippling grasp because ice comet combined with a successful stealthed up poximity detonation will most likely kill everything leaving 1 or 2 players left who I can just kill with impale leaving sap essence useless because it's rare that I need a large AOE finisher with ice comet and proximity detonation whereas its quite common I need to chase someone down with crippling grasp and in stealth concealed weapon gives me 25% speed boost plus the extra 40% from crippling grasp, I'm running faster than a maxed out horse while being invisible so best of both and even better my enemy is running 40% slower! Give me your opinion.

I hope you like this build, I still need time to choose armour/gear and would appreciate feedback and any help is welcome, thank you for your time!

It's no one shot build and one shot build barely works for Magicka Nightblade.
A One shot build is using snipe and killing people with 1 attack :)

Your downfall begins with Mark Target. It's like 'Oh look, now I mark you so you know what's going to happen next'
Mark Target is so predictable and my reaction to Mark target is jumping at one spot and inviting the Nightblade to come. Mark Target is an indicator for a bad Nightblade in my opinion :) that's at least my experience and it was true so far. Never use Mark Target to open a fight. Use it when your enemy is aware of you and Mark Target doesn't warn him.

However, Magicka Nightblades can hit extremely hit. Proxy Detonation on yourself, teleport strike and then spam ambush. Usually kills most targets and Magicka Nightblades with Sword and Shield and Essense spells are extremely tanky. But that's not what you wanted to talk about I guess.
Another deadly tactic is proxy on yourself, summon Meteor, teleport strike and fear and ambush. This is strong against blocking targets. Nightblades highly benefit from big battles, where enemies are focused on other things, makes it much easier for you to use tactics, that usually don't work if your enemy only focuses on you.

Fair point about Mark target, it really is quite stupid isn't it aha. Your combo of proxy detonation, ambush then spam ambush seems like a stamina build to me, do stamina builds have higher burst DPS? I heard magicka nightblades have more survivability.. Thanks for your advice!

Ambush did'nt always use to be a stamina morph. Also your playstyle is very similiar to a stamina build, the only thing your using resto staff for is healing ward correct?

Without going into too much detail i will keep this short and just show you the skills i use atm.

    DW bar:
    Dark Cloak
    Structured Entropy
    Mass Hysteria
    Crippling Grasp
    Concealed Weapon

You are right about the insane speed you get when you cripple then cloak with concealed weapon. This is why i use this combo as my gap closer instead of teleport strike. Also in pvp i dont see the need in impale as my concealed weapon kills them in the same amount of time.

    Restoration bar:
    Healing Ward
    Double Take
    Harness Magicka
    Dark Shades
    Funnel Health

I use to run piercing mark but swapped for shades when i started to realize what Dracane was mentioning. Mark only gives away your position and makes the enemy run away or start buffing up. And funnel over swallow because i like to run vet dungeons and do support heals. Also you g w t more AP for healing people AND doing damage at the same time. Hits just as hard too.

    Hope this helps!

And as for gear i run 5 peice Martial, 4 peice Magnus, 2 peice Cyrodiil light. Still working on my 2 peice Adroitness.

I loved the idea of marked target, but it's basically a beacon to any seasoned PvP player that they need to sip a detection potion and be on guard. Makes people retreat and you end up chasing them into an ambush. Anyone that you can pick off with marked target, you can pick off without marked target. If you want to be a support and work with someone else, it can still help. But you'll need to act really quick.

Well, Mark Target can be usueful in PVP to induce paranoia in one of the enemies, obligue him to assume a defensive postion but it is not a rule you must attack him first. For example, if you are with a group attacking another group, you can mark one enemy, while attacking the one next to him. The marked guy, who was in defensive position after the mark will usually change to an offensive stance to attack yo. That's the moment when your group can attack him, making the mark effective.

So he used part of his resources to protect himself from a non coming attack, then he used another part of the resources to attack a single enemy, and at the end he couldn't protect himself from the real attack. Did I mention that if the guy dies, the Mark heals you and can give you Major Berserk?

It is nice way to get 2 enemies with one attack, but you need a lot of team work.
Sarcasm is something too serious to be taken lightly

    In the wrong house
    With the wrong ascendancy
    I took the wrong road
That led to the wrong tendencies
I was in the wrong place at the wrong time
For the wrong reason and the wrong rhyme
On the wrong day of the wrong week
Used the wrong method with the wrong technique

Thank you, it has helped a lot, quick question, you use concealed weapon as your main damage source, swallow/funnel does similar damage at a much cheaper cost and at range so is it viable to spam that after you benefit from concealed weapons stun.

Also I like to use teleport strike for the stun and what about grim focus and proximity detonation,
Charge up proximity detonation, grim focus yourself then teleport in and the bomb goes off and concealed weapon finisher?

Honostly i think concealed hits harder. I used to use Relentless Focus for the stam regen but been n essing with shades lately. I may go back to focus though.

    I don't have detonation yet.

Also for ultimates i use Soul Harvest on DW and Ice Comet on resto bar.
