win 10/eso stopped working

since my upgrade to windows 10 i get a popup with ESO has stopped working every time i quit eso. since it's only when i quit the game it's a minor issue but it certainly is anoying

Hello @Batavia,

If you are having an issue playing ESOTU on your Windows 10 machine, you should try to play the game in Compatibility Mode.

To play ESOTU in Compatibility Mode, please follow the instructions below:

Right click on the ESOTU launcher.
Select Properties.
Click on the Compatibility tab.
Check Run this program in compatibility mode for: and select the earlier operating system (usually Windows 7 or 8).
Hit Apply, then OK.
Run the ESOTU launcher and try to play the game.

If this does not resolve the issue, please let us know.

Hi,

Basically, you are saying that we should not run the game on Windows10.

Do you have a roadmap to officially support the game on Windows10?

I am asking in order to plan my upgrade from Windows8 to Windows10. My PC is mostly to play games so if one of them is not supported on Windows10 I will not upgrade in short time.
