Mages Scrolls Online we called it. You either re-rolled a dk mage, or two Thunderbugs were the death of you at Vet levels. My poor templar. Tweaked him so many times back then just to finish quests. So many soul gems used on standard mobs of 3.

But that is ONLY if you PvP... what about those players who don't PvP, and there are a LOT of us. Just another example of how updates meant to improve PvP are coming back to slap those who only PvE.
It just amazes me that they are buffing NPC enemy's damage/resistance, but are nerfing our own abilities at the same time. I'm not sure what their logic is with all of this.
Many complain the game is too easy in PVE now (especially as compared to at launch), and the nerfing of skills, sets, and enchantments with the enhanced enemy potency will please some. I would much have preferred some type of scaling difficulty in PVE because everyone has different preferences. And nerfing everything that is effective and/or unique about a class/weapon only homogenizes to MOBA-ville.
Oh, and if you think this change has anything whatsoever to do with PVE balancing, I have this lovely little acre of land at low tide I'd like to sell you...it's stunning beachfront property....
