smithing past level 45

Whats the point in the last 5 level at 45 you have all the passives dev oversight?

They probably held off on 50 for passives as they have added various crafting passives since release, the most recent being the Gold Recipe Level for Psychic Ambrosia.
As for Blacksmithing, didn't they add the 4 Research Passive at L50? Can't remember exactly where that one unlocks.
Anyway, once I reach all the passives, I stop grinding the skill and just use it. It will eventually gain the last few levels just from using it.
