Is it still usefull to get xp ?

I've heard that with the 1.7, the xp amount for questing will increased and the amount of xp to up a vr rank will decrease.
But i can't find anywhere some informations on what will be do with our char who actually questing.

I have a vr 1 and i wanna know if the xp that i get know will be scalled to the 1.7 values. Or questing actually is a totally loose of time ?

Do you have fun playing? Then not a waste of time.

If you don't have fun playing, then why are you here?

XP will be "faster" after the update, but not enough to where I'd stop playing the game if I were enjoying myself while doing so.

Let me say it like this: Waiting 2 weeks for the patch to drop will make you lose on so many experience points that you will not catch up in any way after the patch drops. Continue leveling and enjoy the game.

The XP requirements for CP will not change, so leveling up to V14 right now will net you more CP than the same after the patch.

fun while playing or not it's not my question. I'm actually questing and have fun, but i have to get 1M xp to up. That amount will be convertissed or not ? It's what i ask.

1M Xp actually = 1 lvl
1M xp in 1.7 = 1,5 lvl ? 2 lvl ?

All vr 1 will be vr 2 after the uptade or not ?

Now if you were leveling 3 Alts along with a favorite "main" and trying to plan the best way to spend time on multiple toons...again, I'd say focus on the one you have the most fun with that you can make some form of progress with and then redistribute your time as you see fit once the patch hits.

After 1.7, 1VR will take 850,000.

Now on PTS, when we had our NA toons, my V14 that had 1million + XP after was a V15 with about 150k XP, so I think that if you are a V1 that is past the 850k mark towards V2 you would become a V2 when the update hits.

This also happened last year when they change the XP necessary to level up. I woke up one day and was V7 instead of V6.

Now to confirm this, you'd want to download the PTS and check out your character when they do the character copy for your server (NA or EU).

Personally, I am questing right now with my sorc, because it's fun.

But it's up to you what you want to do.

Since grinding even if you dont know what you are doing is atleast 5xs faster then questing try that.

Grind is hell.
But good idea to up a alts and then up the vet after the release. i will do this.

So only the lvl will be scaled ? the reward from questing still lost ?

I am wondering if I have an issue with my character, lvl 47. 1 quest (lvl 42), 3 discoveries, about 10 named mobs (4 were achievement mobs first time), and 400 kills (lvls 40-43) and my exp bar has not moved at all.

Is it confirmed that the XP we currently have will get scaled into the new exp requirements?

Will my V9 turn into a V13 (or whatever) after the update?
Or will my V9 still be a 9 and just future exp requirements aren't as high?

Any official word on this?

Is it still useful to get xp?? Well if you want to level up higher than level 1 then yes! I don't get the question I guess.

If exp is not being scaled after the patch, it makes more sense to level an Alt 1-50 now rather than leveling a vet character.
If the exp is being scaled, it still makes sense to level the vet char now.

Get it ?

Yes, I would level Non-Vet Alts for the time being.
