✭It was apparently removed because some players were abusing it in their signatures and had it to where they were taking more space than the thread did. It only takes a couple of people to ruin it for everyone else. As for increasing the size of the text in the thread body I think that is still possible, as there is one particularly annoying person who does that on a regular basis on this forum.
