DK PvP build?

So I'm just starting out in PvP, i am playing a magika DK with 2H. What are the must haves on my skill bar?

Any other tips will be much appreciated too.

Haha, how have you come along with your build?

Even though it's not exactly right, I'm sticking with the 2H. It just seems to do a lot more damage then the staves. I like uppercut (it's the only stamina skill i use) the rest are magika skills. So far it's all working out for me

Sword & Shield is a good start.
Go to setup for most magicka DKs looks something like...

1. Shielded Assault - 2.Burning Talons - 3. Flame Lash - 4. Dragon Fire Scales - 5. Green Dragon Blood - U. Take Flight
Gap Closer - Group CC - Spam attack & self heal - reflect projectiles - self heal stam regen boost - Low cost Ult

Back bar is where it get interesting.... some will roll another S&B, some will run 2H, but I prefer a staff...

1.Elusive Mist - 2.Igneous Shield - 3.Molten Armaments - 4.Deep breath - 5.Fossilize - U.Devouring Swarm

Mobility & Mitigation - Damage Shield & healing boost - stronger opener/execute - AoE damage & self heal - hard CC - Swarm provides good AoE damage and it's a great 'oh s***' button.

There are a ton of options for the 2nd bar.... Proxy Detonation is good.... Harness Magicka works too, destructive reach is popular atm, though I'm not a fan. Eruption is a good utility skill offering snare, AoE damage and replaces a small amount of stam via Earthen Heart passives.

Also, it is possible to have 2000+ Spell Damage while wearing 5/6 pieces of heavy armor... a combination of healer, torug's pact & Magnus will give you decent magicka sustain, max magicka & spell damage + you can have 5+ heavy armor to add survival.

Don't use a 2h with a magicka build -_-, you uppercut dmg will scale off your max stamina + weapon dmg and your magicka skills will scale off your max magicka + spell dmg.

You can't stack both sadly.

Depends if you want to go full dps or not.

For full dps a vampire dumner fire mage is quite a popular build.

✭ EDITED with Proper Terminology..

Two Inferno Staffs/MAX FLAME DAMAGE ENCH/200% WEP CHARGE-

FIRST BAR- BURNING TALONS (although I'm finding many can CC out of it or it doesn't work, might drop it), Force Pulse, FLAMES OF O, IGN Sh, GDB, CORR ARM ULT

SECOND BAR- FLAME PULSAR, FLAME LASH, FLAMES O O, EFF PURGE, ERUPTION, SOULS ASS- ULT

Maybe reflect scales is a good spot for one above, although I have some issues with the timing and when to use it. I guess if you stay back it is OK but I tend to be towards the front where it is less effective IMO. When In doubt put GDB on this bar also.

CORR Armor as the ULT is a must have in Vet PVP, not as important in Non Vet or PVE.

You need to have it up and just before you reach combat pop it, switch bars and have Soul Assault ready to go when the 100 Ult hits. In the mean time FLAME LASH them tell it hurts and then I would pop IGN Shield if you need help with GDB on the ready after/if you get jumped on. This is the only way my level 4 is doing some damage against V14 types in PVP.

I also run 5 MED armor in PVP, 1HVY, 1 Light, probably will switch back and try 5 Light here in a bit. This is with DK firemage..Magika Enchants. Warlock Access. Inflitrator set.
