Question - how to run by another user?

Windows 7 Ultimate

"shift"+right mouse click+run as another user works perfect - game launched, et cetera

but shortcut with edited Objective field or *.bat wont

my code is

runas /savecred /user:"eso2" "C:\Zenimax Online\The Elder Scrolls Online EU\game\client\eso.exe"

when i run it as bat/shortcut it launched the game for a second but then process of the game selfkilled
i see eso.exe for few seconds in task manager only

no Antivirus, or other similar software, and it works perfect if launched manually

Not sure but likely to way that the ESO.EXE program actually runs the game which means that when the 'runas' terminates the process tree ends.

Maybe in a .BAT try using "start runas", so that the command shell creates a separate process to run the runas in so that when it (the shell) exists once the 'start' command ends the process tree it creates to run 'runas' stays around?

Like I say, I don't really have a clue but there have been times when I've found I need to create a new process tree using 'start' for some stuff, maybe this would work here.

Out of curiosity why are you having to use 'runas' at all?

i need run another game instance but with separate saved variables and settings
the only way i found its runas

right? or there is another ways?
i dont like virtual machines - alot of peformance

Oh I see, running two copies, I thought for some reason you needed to access ESO which had been installed under a different Windows user.,

I run two copies but don't need separation of setups so I just click the shortcut twice, I see now what you're trying to do and as far as I know yes, 'runas' is the only mechanism that can do that.

Two computers and a KVM switch work quite nicely for multiple instances/accounts.
