Some of them even going so far as to admit in this very thread that they voted yes just to shut the pro text pups up. Or did you skip over those posts? Your argument would have some validity if you just didnt make it all up.
When you can do a census on the whole player base and provide exact and acurate numbers then we might take you serious, but untill then this poll speaks for what the community wants.
Its an open poll where anyone who has bought the game has access too, sooooo...... this poll is not as convoluted as you claim, the people who actually pmay the gane have spoken up and your side has lost.... in a land slide.

This game.needs a way for people to communicate in entire zones, and we need a way to communicate with multiple people and guilds at once. Andbthe only way I have ever seen that done is threw text chat. Hence the overwhelming demand and support for it.Hi0 -

All cars have gas gauges, speedometers, tires and a steering wheel but you wouldn't say all cars are the same because of that, would you?
The core of the game should be strong enough to stand on it's own and entice players to want to try it out. Being able to tell players that they can get a classic ES experience or a more standard MMO experience would be a strong selling point.
Instead it's our way or GTFO.

Definitely not millions of players. All the GameStop locations within a 50 mile radius of me have used copies in stock. So it is pretty much being treated like any other console game. Play a little and move on to the next big release.PS4 Pro NA1 -

As of the middle of june, sales had reportedly topped 800,000 on PS4 and 600,000 on xBox One. So, you've got me there. They may not have topped 2 mil yet. I imagine they are significantly close if they haven't.The artist formerly known as StaticWax.0 -

VilhelmValhalla4✭✭✭YesI don't see why it shouldn't, people would still be able to use their mics for voice chat. Personally, I hate talking in games, and the simple solution to that is text chat. An argument I've repeatedly seen is that a keyboard is required for text chat and that is somehow unfair for those who lack that peripheral; there is always the virtual keyboard that pops up on screen, and voice-chat is still an option. If players don't want to see the text box on the side of the screen, make it toggle-able.1 -

Actually, mods are closing other threads dealing with text chat and redirecting them here, so it's not only about adding text chat with the up coming IC DLC.
