dont get me wrong , i do not desire a 2km high flying dragon (not possible due to engine and size of pve areas) but 2 or 3 m above the ground would be nice and why - cause i would pay crowns for a complete different mount!

    X34-landspeeder.jpg

I think you may have the wrong game.

But yes, why not?! Why not - for the sole purpose of making more money - put a hovercraft in? In fact, why don't we just dump all the ESO lore and kick it to curb 'cause it's really, really starting to hold us back when it comes to creative game design.

    I mean wouldn't you want:

    Dwemer handguns
    Light sabers or light swords
Maybe a huge anime sword of ice ... and then one of fire ... and then one of shock ...
Maybe some more races that were never, ever in the TES series
Maybe some more classes that were never, ever in the TES series
Maybe we could sell some bikinis and stuff in the Crown store so all the guys could ... whistle ... to their toons (see what I did there? See?)

    /sarcasm off.

How about instead of an actual mount, we can put a levitaion spell as a mount per say.

It wont be a normal spell like the ones in our loadouts, but in all aspects it is just a mount but when you click your mount button you will levitate a few feet off the ground and could move around like you would with a normal mount.

It is lore friendly, and I think it will be cool to see.

flying mounts? well sorry you have to wait 2 eras for dragons to come. also you're no dragonborn too.

maybe, maybe! physic laws can be altered for fun in oblivion planes.
something teach mortals how weird sheogorath's sense of humour really is. a mini game or a quest that requires you to fly or something similar can be done for fun right?

    So yeah, levitation. :)

Years ago, when I was a girl in middle school starting to game and my Dad introduced me to Morrowind, I LOVED levitation. I know, I know it was game breaking and you could levitate up and kill your mobs from the sky and all that. But I would abuse alchemy until I had these massively overpowered levitation potions ... and then I would spend hours just floating over Red Mountain.

    Yeah .... levitation.

War does not determine who is right - only who is left.

The heroes during times of war, are nothing but mass murderers during times of peace.

Problem with adding Necromancer, is the way it would bust the actual playthrough. All alliances have long drawn out quests about fighting Necromancers, who are trying to undermine every alliance. Not to mention how it directly relates to the main story line and its main 2 antagonists, as all Necromancy is directly tied to Mannimarco and Molag Bol.

Having a Necromancer playing through that would be game breaking for many, unless an alternate story line is created for each alliance and main story.

In other words, very impractical to even attempt

I don't see it that way. Apply this reasoning to ESIV Oblivion for example. Its like saying the player should not be able to summon daedra because that's what Mankar Camoran does.

Its true that necromancy did start with Mannimarco, but assumptions that all necromancers owe fealty and are aligned with him are incorrect. Take the book "The Legend of Vastarie" for example. It centres upon a different approach to necromancy. Which, while still could be considered evil, is separate from the Worm Cult and the King of Worms.

To deny those that would like a necromancer skill line in ESO because all necromancers are allied with Mannimarco and Molag Bal is a thin argument, and not reason enough to prohibit one.

    Just my opinion of course.

Missing the point by focusing on one aspect of it. Take the Daggerfall storyline into account. In A'likr map the Redguard have a pretty definitive feeling towards Necromancy, and that the storyline takes you into a sect of Redguard culture that willingly outcast themselves to battle necromancy. The Orcs also share a particular hatred for Necromancy in all its shapes and forms.

And lets not forget that Meridia has a long and deep seeded hatred for Necromancy, and the very existence of which is an affront to her existence. Its not just Mannimarco that makes necromancy as a class option impractical. Its the entire tone of the story in many of its facets, expecting people to work with what they hate more then anything else, well its just foolish

Understand, I have nothing against it as a class, just pointing out its infeasible t8 do.

To be clear I said a new Trial is in the works. I didn't say when it would come out.

Also... #ashhole was about the funniest thing I've heard in awhile! (Weathers is my hero)

Rich, a quick question if you will

Will this new Trial follow the same format as the old ones (relatively short, 3-4 bosses), or do you have any plans for longer Trials (say, 3-4 hours long with 8-10 bosses~) more akin to the "traditional raids" of other games?

Oh and thanks for answering my question on last ESO Live.

I can live with no 24-man raids, but it'd be awesome to have longer ones with more progression

Just so you know sir, if a new trial doesnt come out with Orsinium then the PVE population will be devastated and lots of people will most likely stop playing :(
Trials are advertised a feature of Adventure Zones, and Orsinium is not an Adventure Zone. Therefore there is no reason to expect any Trials to come with Orsinium.

I'm personally against flying mounts, pro Necromancer and pro Wyrd-ish classes (or at least a skill line).

Necromancer could work in the same way as they allowed players to play as any race in any alliance. Maybe one day a bunch of necromancers said.. " This aint right. I am going to use my abilities to change the world for the better ". I am occasionally roleplaying a Nord that defected to AD for example.

The idea of adding flying mounts to this game is stupid.

Why would people demand another class when it took them this long to get the class we have halfway balanced? Don't get me wrong, I love what ZOS has done and they've come a long way, but we don't need another class for awhile.

Its like political forum here: there is a party who demands this and that and one party who is against it and the mid party who can think about the possibility of this and that with a few changes to original idea.
At the end we will all see whats coming , when its coming and how its coming.

I think best proof atm is the "zero stamina reg while blocking discussion" at pts, forum and live shows. Same story there: the pro party, the against party and the mid party discussing since weeks. But like last show: decision was made to keep it like its on pts now.
