    Yes. What?
Every time i log in or out it dumps me into a voice chat channel. There's always these two people chit chatting nonstop. I would like to be able to opt out of that. Enter voice chat when i decide to not every time i log in.

I think threads like this are the most interesting because you can see how different we all are in how we view the game.

I will admit though I didnt pay very close attention as @NewBlacksmurf said, I was just too happy for an Elder Scrolls MMO. If I had fully understood just how much an aged out/killed by "clone" MMO's would be piggy backing the Elder Scrolls name...I probably would have left it alone. Because that game sucked (imo ofc) hindsight 20/20 :)

But we are all still here, and going to have varying opinions
If options weren't necessary, and everyone played the same way, no one would use addons. Fix the UI!

I think you may desire a completely different game overall.
For me when the DeVs announced this game I researched and learned that a lot of them and the ideas are basically from Dark Age of Camelot. They even said the PvP will be very alike so from day one of you didn't like DAoC's style then this would be a pass for you.

I wouldn't change a thing as the new IC is basically Darkness Falls which was one of the main things that help DAoC to be different from all those other MMO clones over the years.

I like the console vs PC variances as the teams took into consideration what each gamer has vs making them need to buy stuff to just play.

I really wouldn't change anything but just fix what's broken or bugged

Sorry but I like the game as is.
You are not alone. Gave you an awesome for speaking my mind.

Who is this directed at? Certainly cant be me since I have been around longer than most and I am a several year DAoC veteran so I know what is and isnt from DAoC.

As far as an Elder Scrolls title I think they went to far in on the PvP when making Cyrodil entirely a PvP contested area. There is just way to much overall potential for that zone that is completely lost.

Even with DAoC with even larger PvP areas the most PvP took place at Alb or Mid frontier gates ( meaning Hib had a very very long run to get there ) . Once they added battlegrounds with a single keep in the middle those became more popular overnight and often times people rerolled new characters just to go through those again or to simply lock exp gain until hitting the RR cap for a battleground before moving to the next.

Once the ' new frontiers ' addition came along it was a bit better.

As far as DF goes.. Only a few servers were what I would call balanced enough in PvP to offer each side a chance at access. A lot of the times it was based on time zones and just rotated based on what faction had the most players during a time zone. The other servers were dominated by 1 or 2 factions leaving the 3rd out which in the end caused people to leave that server or the game entirely ( not wanting to reroll and level again )

TLTSTR : Cyrodil has a lot of potential that will never be realized in its current setup. Now once they come up with a different story line now that Molag Bals part is coming to an end soon and is the sole reason the factions were tricked into forming and battling each other... Maybe they can come up with something better. Having Cyrodil stuck in a past story line forever just isnt going to make any sense.
