Haha, the amount of times I have hit a centipede or some other little critter with an ultimate is insane.

Hitting them with fully charged heavy attacks are also annoying :P

Yes,this! I've stood there slamming my spell key over and over,cannot do as thing.Then whoop! I die because I couldnt hit anyone! I could back up,or run,but not use my spell casting.
I have a DK that it has happened to several times.

As to the OP:

This was one of the most fun I've had reading comments on posts.I've killed my share of accidental things.That's how I became a murderer.I accidentally ultimated a merchant in the background in Khanarthi's Roost.Oops.
Then I got the notification I had just won "Murder" achievement.

I don't know mate, I just came back from Cyrodil and I was getting 2 hit by NB's as a DPS DK. Granted, on the recap, it was 6 different things that hit at once, so I was a little puzzled.

Mean while, the Sorc melted me in 4 hits. But I swear he tasted blood in the water, because his first hit, I was like 'Cool, let me pop GDB and Rally.' Second hit put me at like 12% HP at which I was like 'Okay, let me tick cancel Rally so I get the heal, recast it, pop another GDB, and .. oh never mind I'm dead.'

I don't know what the heck a 'volatile' curse, or whatever it was is...but why is it hitting 10k?

NBs are good for single target dps, we have time to get all of our boosts up, and if we suprise attack guarantees crit, if you're noticed and you get stunned you're screwed.

12k SA is from stealth (and from the back)

PD from stealth is 24k
CF from stealth is 17k
WB from stealth is 13k

I seldem got killed by SA...

Soul tether is a sweet heal.
Anyway stamblades don't need no heals, rolldodge is a your defense. Properly played you shouldn't get hit at all.

I wish people would just spell things out instead of using initials, not everyone is up on all the acronyms and ability initials in the game. I get SA- Surprise Attack, WB- Wrecking Blow... but what are PD and CF?!?

Having both - a Nightblade and a Sorcerer (both Magicka) - I'd say Sorcerers feel a lot more squishy, while Nightblade is almost a tank (Sap! Sap! Sap!). It heals up to 30k per second on larger mob-packs and you can solo Craglorn including the bosses quite effectively.

I think this thread is looking for our silly Nightblade stories, not advice on how to play better.

So, I'll bite. I hate bugs, and not just bugs, accidentally hitting anything in the mob that is not my target. Fingers slip. Accidents happen. Then, I'm running because everyone has seen me. Damn you insects. I don't even use crawler drops. I'm probably one of the few players in Tamriel right now who isn't fishing. :'(

My ambuuuuuuuush, whyyyy.

My favorite though is attempting the stealth crit on the biggest, most heavily armored boss in the middle of a dungeon mob and then the attack just bounces off like nothing when it totally worked on the last one. Unlucky dice roll. Granted, I don't usually die unless I'm being a real idiot but it's happened to us all at least once.

I play both PC and PlayStation and this seems to only be an issue on PS4. Sure, it can happen on PC, but it never does to me. PS4 happens too often. I guess the mouse allows for better accuracy.
