Can't run game on new laptop

Hi,
I've downloaded the game onto my new laptop (WIN 10) but every time I click play I get an error 6 message - critical failure.
I've uploaded the latest drivers for the graphics card, tried compatibility mode and tried repair which re-downloaded the whole game all over again to simply get the same message.
I've again tried to repair but it again tried to download the whole thing once more.
Is there anything else I can try?

I uninstalled and re-uploaded and I can now get to the login screen!
Login just hangs though when I enter my details and then times out.
I disabled the firewall to no effect.0
