The "Blood for the Pact" choruses were silenced for awhile ...

✭✭✭✭Come now, EP brought 3+ raids to take back their scroll on Azura's last night and rolled in and out with practically no deaths because damage couldn't make it through the lag. All alliances do it, the blame is entirely on ZOS for the crappy state of pvp lag. What else is to be expected when there's a last emp keep, or a faction is pushed to scroll gates, etc.? The game should be able to handle the number of people that it advertises. To the yahoos that still use meteor, there are no excuses and if there wasn't a no naming and shaming policy I'd start a thread with a running list of people caught using it on death recaps so we can all look at you with disgust.
I think I can say with some confidence that dethroning a meth emp is a bigger rallying cry for DC than any scroll though. Even the pugs are starting to learn that you drop everything and take the last emp keep from red or you have to spend the rest of your pvp time holding block until he logs for the night.3 -

I remember when Murder Thumbs was dethroned by 250+ players. 3-4 raids from both factions on opposite sides of the keep usually. One time we actually extended his Emperorship by a good hour because DC took the front flag at the same time EP took the back flag and the keep didn't flip of course, we ended up wiping one side then the other and it started all over again. This was all with a single raid defending btw.
Final keep of an emp dethrone is almost always a *** because is pretty much has to be when the emp and his raid are defending it. In a world of no Forward camps and raid players with insta-resses get used to be gang-banged every time you get dethroned. Besides, no one wants to see an emperor in a game who is so "skillful" he 1-shots most players all the time using the most bugged ult in the game. I don't blame people for doing whatever it takes to dethrone him. The game is much more fun without that garbage to worry about.

I turn looking at my brother and sister warriors no time never enough time the end is near the end is now....hold....hold.... stop the beast but no more, no pain, down I fall, silence.
I lay there as my last breath leaves me what went wrong I did all I could I fought well many did fall to my blade I didn't make a mistake...what....what....peace falls over no hate just resect, I can move on knowing I fell to a true warrior a glorious death.

People settle the map before primetime... another just facet of the game and people in all sorts of time zones but I wish upon all the stars that ever were and ever will be that I didn't have to wake up in the morning with all the campaigns flipped red and yellow like they were today.Has an Alter Ego in the form of a very large quadrupedal black & white Bear.2 -
