Alright, bit of background; My original character was a NB dw/bow wood lf from launch - when stamina was argh- got to vet 2

Made a DK tank in here somewhere >>>>>

From there went on abit of a hiatus while i continued crafting research.
Came back and made a 2m/5h templar was fun however i longed for more, This one (Minsc)was a nord so me going magicka on this guy was less than desired.
So i made magicka Templar dps/healer was great fun got to vet 1, however i play with my partner, and her character is a temp healer too ( bit redundant in dot abilities not stacking and who needs two healers :disappointed:

So after another small break of about a month i am stuck i have Three ideas i want to test, however leveling alts - (i am an altoholic sadly)- is tedious at best.
so i need your help.

1st option is to resume playing minsc- love the heavy armour look, and is complementary to the party- and is the easiest option due to him being vet.

2nd is a high elf sorc called Jon Irenicus - got the whole build and style kinda teed away, and sadly the upcoming IC horse would suite him perfectly.

3rd is a DK fire mage , the idea and what i know from my time leveling one( albeit) in heavy armour as a tank would be and look awesome esp now we have a "fire" magelight_ i would just be worried about survivability _ esp in pvp

Lastly is my NB but to be honest i have no clue what to do with her.

I would level them all however, you and i both know alts in this game are a no go, My previous characters are lvl 50 crafters in all equipment crafts and 8 piece sets available to all 3, lvl 40 enchanting, none of that is an issue however i simply can't decide on just one.

So ESO forum goers; you are my only hope...

Not sure if this will help or not. My main and only Vet level toon is a Nord DK. For a long time I focused on stamina, but recently switched to magica. I went 5 heavy 2 light(hands and waist), at V14 I'm still leveling up the light armor. I went with 5 Magnus, 3 Whitestrakes at the moment, although I will probably craft a Willows Path set once I'm able to after researching.

Sword and board on one bar for tanking, destro staff on the other for range, and still leveling that up too. I put 2/3 attributes in magica 1/3 in health. S&B bar I have the gap closer ability (forgot the name, shield charge or something) , heroic slash to build ultimate(replaced with the taunt for group dungeouns) Greed Dragon Blood, Choking Talons and Lava whip. On the other bar I have 2 destro staff abilities, (still leveling) and in pvp retreating charge, caltrops and siege shield. For dungeuns I replace the last 3 with GDB, Talons and Unstable Flame. Corrosive Armor as the ultimate on both, PVE and PVP.

Previously I had been 5 medium 2 heavy dual wield and bow.

I've found with the change I'm more effective in PVE and PVP. PVE I can tank holding block and using magica attacks with the taunt thrown in. If I run out of magica I can switch bars and spam heavy attack to build the magica back up. GDB and Corrosive armor keep me alive when my health is low.

In PVP my kill to death ratio has dropped from about 1:1 to almost 3:1. Granted, I get less killing blows in, but I can stay in the fight longer, CC groups for my teammates and generally cause more havoc among enemy groups due to my ability to wade in, abosrb damage, spam whip and talons and get back out when my resources drop. Me and a healer can go to Cyro as a two person group, follow the battles and rack up tons of kills just meleeing with enemy groups.

It's a pretty fun way to play, you might want to consider something similar for your DK, especially with a healer as a partner.

    Hope this helps.
