They know people want it , and said no , no plan , they aren't going to let you remap your controller. Why have I been able to do this in other mmos but not in this one?

[snip] They also said that they're not planning on adding text chat any time soon

How could anyone possibly defend them not letting us remap our controllers ? I just don't get it.

You do realize the legal MLG certified aftermarket controller market is so big it's foolish to have the software do something the hardware is doing. I think xbox even has the elite controller that has the electro magnetic remapping. Scuf, cinch are two controller companies in mind.

It's not that you have to buy a controller, you just need something to complain about. :)

Now show a way to do it that doesn't affect any other game. No really , I'll wait. Because I can remap controls inside my other games and it doesn't affect any other game.

Let me know when you figure that out.

Some people are happy being unhappy. I'm sure your post is good without looking at it. Good stuff!

But this doesn't let me rebind all the keys exactly as I want them unless I'm missing something , and genuinely am appreciating your help , trying this now. (and ignoring the stalking troll with 8 posts)

if you can do it in game with a button you can change it to any other button, but the game will make it hard to do every thing you feel like you should be able to do. i.e not letting us dodge with one button (thats my issue).

I've made this set up so most everything stays the same and you can change weapons ezer while not losing anything to do it.

Its so simple I cant understand why the dev would want us to remove our thumbs to switch weapons.

Ok so there are some like that then , for example dodge and others that you cannot do as a one button , I don't know why the default is so off either , it seems almost counterintuitive from the start
