Looking for Enchanting leveling buddy

Windorf
Windorf
I'm on Xbox One NA and i'm trying to level up enchanting. It's level 22 now. I would like to find someone who is also leveling it up on my server and after we make glyphs we can swap them with each other to deconstruct the other person's glpyhs for the best possible exp.

Sure, my enchanting is lvl 20 so we could really help each other out.

My gt is Willy8257. I'm also on ebonheart pact, but I'm not sure if the alliance matters for sending items to other players

Ah right forgot to say i'm in Dominion. But we should be able to mail them to each other.

Just in case you guys are not aware, the 'deconstruct a glyph made by someone else' bonus crafting XP also works with your own alts(as in, craft glyph with alt, deconstruct with main, get bonus).

Not that there's anything wrong with trading glyphs with another player of course.

Hey I tried sending you glyphs, but I keep getting that annoying "player with that name doesn't exist" msg. You would think after a few months they would have tried to fix a problem like this, but no. I have an alt whose dominion, so we will just have to coordinate times to meet and exchange glyphs. I'm off of work today, so I'm good for pretty much whenever.

Oh and btw, as a lvl 22 enchanter, do you know if there is a considerable difference in the amount of xp you get from deconstructing higher lvl glyphs vs lower lvl ones? I only ask because I can make a ton of lvl 20-30 & 25-35 glyphs, but I'm not sure if they would be of any benefit to you.

That does sound like a good idea, however you get more xp deconning higher level ones also, the other person might have more into the skill that gives you 10% more back from deconning so more chance to make more runes back and fourth.

Thanks for the idea it is an interesting idea to explore some other time.

Yea mail just isn't a nice way to send things at the moment. I don't think it would really work to be honest, I mean maybe. But it's better if we both are on our enchanters and we pass glyphs to each other, decon them, make more, and repeat step one. It would be very time consuming if you had to switch and bank it after each time.

You don't need one. Mob dropped glyphs give the most Inspiration on decon, so go farm undead and human Mobs as they drop those the most. Animals also drop them too.

Or you can use an Alt on your account to trade Glyphs with for the same Inspiration as deconning glyphs made by another player. This way your leveling two enchanters at the same time and not dealing with the friction of the mail system.

Either of the two methods above are far and away better than trying to find a enchanting partner to trade with and slogging through that process.

Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

I think if people were to just keep making glyphs and trading with each other it's a lot faster than farming. Although I haven't really farmed so I can't say for sure. Also, isn't there a difference in deconning different level glyphs made by others? So if I were using an alt it would make level 1 glyphs, were as if I found a partner that we both could make vr1+ glyphs for each other, wouldn't I benefit more for deconning higher level rather than the low level ones?

I leveled all my crafters up to max levels by deconning farmed mob loot, it is the best way overall to do this.

If you want to deal with the friction and costs of trading 6 items at a time back and forth for this go ahead. But, you will get less inspiration from a glyph a player made than you will from looted glyphs.

If you want to gain Experience, level your skills and character, pick up loot you can decon/vendor in addition to glyphs and earn a bunch of gold you can farm for them by killing mobs. Find a place where zombies or blood fiends spawn as they are squishy and drop glyphs and you will be so much better off in the long run as your leveling lots of things, not just one.

Now, true you can make glyphs that are higher level than your character, but where are you going to get the mats to make them? VR level potencies are not cheap in the guild stores. Nor are they in abundance, in fact, it's not the Aspect runes that are rare and hard to find, its the potencies, Your going to lose on average 50% of the runes you use to make the glyphs, or rather this person your trading with is maybe going to get back 50% of the runes used. And that is if the RNG gods are smiling. So, you have to keep feeding the kitty. It ain't cheap to do this.
