Sigh , I guess I should not be surprised. One of the things I wasn't thrilled about in FF was injecting real world holidays and calling them something different. A pumpkin outfit in the fall is Halloween whether they want to admit it or not. Wonder how far they will go down the rabbit hole with cash shop trumping lore.

Yes, very true. It is a business after all.

I have no problem with them having to sell fluff items in the cash shop without having a subscription requirement. I just assumed they would put more effort and thought into it instead of going the holiday items route is all.

I actually kind of like the idea. Except for the Vamp and WW bites. But I'm not a stickler for lore, and besides, I think they could make them all fit within current ES lore.

I like the holidays. Why not enjoy a little holiday cheer along with my Tamriel excursions as well?

The sad part is I won't want to buy the halloween stuff but one night I will be out and come home after having too much adult beverge and BAM! I'll buy everything and have regrets. I wish there was a morning after pill for that.

As long as the items being sold stay within the confines of the lore (are they now?) I have no issues with real world holiday crown store items. As long as we don't have "Halloween" events in game, I'm comfortable. I'd rather have had a ghost polymorph that turns me into a specter.

I wouldn't have as much of a problem with them adding utter crap like this that I will never purchase if they would add a toggle in the settings where I could turn off costumes, polymorphs, and vanity pets and not be forced to see and hear that crap.

It's solely a cash grab, and I'd hate to admit that I'm a part of the problem. When I see new limited time offering mount, I gotta have it! It's like my band will play out and people will buy me all kinds of drinks(which is awesome) but a few days later I start getting things in the mail I didn't realize i'd ordered. I do the same thing with in game purchases it's how I got The Witcher. I swear my electronic devices need a breathalizer.
