Crafted sets?

Not sure what prices to sell crafted sets. I can almost craft all the sets which sell the best and what prices. On ps4 NA server.

People generally buy crafted sets on order. You would have to make each set for each level to cover the market. And, then, at higher levels most people want some improvement to the sets. This is not a feasible inventory to create.

If you want to sell crafted items reliably, make traited items for research purposes so others can do the trait research. For special orders, add up the replacement costs for the materials, including all the Tempers, then add in travel time to each station, then add in the profit you want to make.

I stopped making sets for other people a long time ago.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

On the PC server I sell items based on the style, trait and item color, not the set. This helps anyone try out any set they want. There are those that charge depending on the set but I don't see any benefit in doing so, it doesn't make any more gold, in fact I think it turns most people off of it.

Pricing based on set will be really hard to pull off with IC also. Yes, the sets will be harder to make, but the sheer costs of being able to make just 1 item are already going to cause the prices per item to skyrocket.

If I am using all of their materials to make the new IC sets, then yes it will be more cost to craft because of the increased risk of getting in there to do it.

Sell nirnhoned pieces for research if you don't have time to do special orders. Not sure how the market is on the PS4 for that.

You could look at a bunch of end game guides to find out what people want. Hunding's Rage is a big one for people. But no one is paying the price of materials out there. Especially for gold, you take a pretty big hit. Way better to just sell tempering alloy.

You have two options: Join 5 guilds with as many people as possible and tell them you are selling and ask the guildmaster to update the message of the day with your offer. I did that and find good interest. The other way is to stand in a higher level area with guild traders like in Reapers March and use area chat to offer.

I sell 5 piece sets with Green tempers for $7k and charge $12k for rare motifs like Ancient Elf, Barbaric, and Primal.

The tempers are only worth it above VR1 because otherwise people level past the equipment too fast.
