Housing and Barber is coming to TESO

player housing? how about football stadiums? strip clubs? bars? supermarkets? malls? drag races and street racing for mounts.. a resturant too and a dating service and a mount service( instead taxi) oh and a movie theater or in short, to have new ID cards and live in TESO.
the only thing would make sense IN THIS GAME is altering your character appearance,name or so.
player housing is the most stupid idea i have ever heared of when its about the world of tamriel. be reasonable for a moment.. this is not GTA V.. there is no skyscrapers in tamriel and any thing AROUND that would make it horrible.

"desperately" is a bit of an overstatement, yes it would be nice, but RELEVANT END CONTENT THAT KEEPS PEOPLE PLAYING is something the game desperately needs, we'll se how IC turns out

Well caution when it comes to Z. is absolutly reasonable. And what was so different in oblivion housing?

Enlight me: Why you think caution is needed?

It is not diffent to other Elder Scrolls but I like the fact you get a house in a normal city and can place lots of stuf even weapons and armors. That would be nice compared to other MMOs.

Key points for those who don't understand French:
- Maybe VR18 before the end of the year
- Justice Phase II won't be coming with the Dark Brotherhood DLC, it's a long term plan
- Spellcrafting still being worked on. Maybe after next year's 2 announced DLCs
- They want to do housing, don't know when
- They have a prototype for inventory dedicated to crafting
- Shield Dyes: more important stuff to do before
- 64b client: they've encountered difficulties with it, still don't know if it's going to happen
- DX12: they're planning for compatibility but don't know when
- Controler support on PC: they've been actively working on it for a while
- Cross-faction dungeons still coming
- Murkmire will be talked about in 2016

Brilliant. No Tamriellic holidays, just Halloween pumpkin crap. This pretty much ends my interest in this game. Its not an Elder Scrolls game. Its just an mmo that started well, but died on bad dev decisions.

I guess we have to wait for Todd and hope he will cut generic fantasy crap he loves so much. Among the best Elder Srolls features, its unique lore and metaphysics trully shine. Lets hope they stick to them (for love of the Nine, not another Oblivion)

I used to want housing, but then I realized I really just wanted unlimited storage at the bank and a trophy room where I could display things. I would enjoy crafting all the armor sets and putting them on display. Even if it was offline and only viewable by me.

I hope not, Orsinium should be at worst an alternative VR16 zone, and better yet a Level 50 zone. It definitely shouldn't be VR18.

Agree, but it would require them to be ready with scaling system and honestly i dont think its possible before way into 2016

I have seen a lot of people mention houses and say no chance. Gta 5 did it and it seemed to work not too badly although there is the chance you could loose stuff. I remember in Gta 5 due to a glitch one of my cars went missing and was replaced with a top of the line Italian one from someone else's garage. But in saying that there is already a small scale system in place in the form of the bank. Would just need ramped up a few notches.

The reason devs seem and are so secretive is because every freaking time they float and idea(and these people are dreamers!) every fanboi says "YOU PWAMISED" and the net result is CIA level secrecy about news and development in video games.
