DK firemage- Anyone running 5 Med, 1 Light, 1 Heavy for PVP?

V3 here- I was tired of getting crushed in PVP once I hit Vet 1 and was wearing 5 light with Inferno staff.
So I switched out to 5 Medium infiltrator set with Mainly Magika enchants and Crafted Blue Tourag/ with 1 light/1heavy.
Warlock for rings and neck. Tri food potion for bonus. My Magika seems to be holding good, and the phys defense is about 4K higher but spell crit is down about 20 points to around 10%. Mage mundus.
So my survivability is much better but I am wondering if anyone is running around Vet PVP with a similar setup and how they have worked on Spell Crit if possible.
Getting about 16K on soul assault so I have been trying that a lot as the ultimate for PVP. Seems to work really well but I am not sure if spell crit % effects that Ulti or not.

WyldfireWyrm✭✭✭I think most are running 5H/2L or 5L/2H depending on if they want to be glass cannons or tanky. The extra 6% doesn't mean much when you have such massive resource pools. And regen is better than max.0 -
Kavatchian✭✭✭The only thing I dislike about this game is how no matter what your class almost everything is Magicka based. I want to have a good DPS Dragonknight, but it seems like I have to invest in more magicka to pull off almost all the attacks. I've been getting help with my current build here:
However, I set it up more as a Tank instead of DPS. Like I stated before I thought putting more into health would prevent me from having to use spells to increase my resistance. I'm very lost at the moment. Magicka seems to be the best option for DPS, but some are telling me to run a Stamina build.
I do rather decent with the current set up, but I feel like I could improve much more in PVP. Who knows maybe I've just gotten use to my own build.

Auricle✭✭✭✭✭It seems like light armor will be a bit better come 1.7. My magicka dk swaps from 5L/2H to 5H/2L depending on the situation. Medium armor seems to be a better fit for the stammies, imo.
Don't feel too bad about getting recked in PvP in the low VRs. It'll be rough going until about VR8 or so, and then it gets better(ish). Good luck!0
