Crafting, Inventory, Bag + Bank Space, and Mail w/ Reagents

I'd like to start out by saying I'm a Crafter. I have all the craft skill minus provisioning, which I have on an alt.

My MAJOR turnoff from this game is management of inventory and Resources. I have 7 mule character all w/ the crafting perks, all are about 80+ bag space which hold all my mats, I have them organized between character. I have one for old mats, one for chant mats, one for upgrade tempers, one for food mats, etc.

When I quest on my main and pick up a bunch of herbs, I place them in my bank, then have to login with my mules to put them in their inventory since bank space is abysmally small. THEN I have to deal with the 8 emails I get per day. Same process.

Now I know I CHOOSE to play this way, and people who don't craft most likely don't have any inventory issues.
To me this is a deal breaker when it comes to gameplay.

Ways this could be alleviated?:

If I was able to mail my mats to specific characters then it would cut down time on sorting, this would be a big change for ZOS.
Or give me access to my characters bags from within my main character, through some bank interface maybe, since we're already sharing a mailbox for some reason?
Or anything else that could cut down time swapping alts to manage inventory, maybe someone knows of an addon?

Anyone else have issues with inventory and reagent organization?

I craft and harvest everything in sight and I don't have an issue with inventory management. But, I also have 1,600 inventory slots, which helps quite a bit. I will be increasing it to 1,840 slots when Imperial City goes live.

Bank is primarily for crafting mats imo.

If you have an item you are hanging onto for awhile ie. treasure maps stick them on a mule.

I do like to see a "mail to self".

I'm a farmer, crafter and trader. Somethimes I wish I can send that duplicates maps to myselfs. But wait ZOS want me to only get ONE of that maps at time! Serious ZOS why?

Also I do love to see a "sent mails" list and more space to sell at bank (more money sink ZOS) since bank slots are a joke.

LordSock dude, find a frined and send to him that mails with "RETURN PLEASE" on subject.
Find a few more friend and create a "storage" guild

HOW do you get 1600 inventory slots?! I have 100 on my main and I ran out of money. Isn't it just a 10 slot increase/ridiculous amount of money.. I'm at 37500 for next upgrade and I cant justify that for only 10 more slots.

the bolded part is something I've used since beta as a trick to manage my inventory better. It also saves you time in "the field" when bag space is filling up. Even at 170 slots on my toons I run out of space when I'm questing and collecting stuff or grinding out mobs. Bank space is small and starts out small. I agree that it should be increased a bit more but there are ways around it. It's time consuming sure and it's not user friendly but it sort of is what it is at this point imo.

    @Akavir_Sentinel:

Unless you're counting all your mules. I guess the 250g per day per mule for horse bags till you reach cap, + the gold to get all alts to say 140 inventory. That's a lot of gold and at least 50 days of work. I don't have that much gold :(

I think I'll have to find a friend as Athas24 suggests. Kinda silly workaround but I guess since there is nothing in place to help sort this kinda stuff, and ZOS hasn't mentioned anything, it'll be like this for a long time.

    240 bank + 170 per toon = 1,600 slots at a cost of ~1.2 million.

Imperial City will increase bag space by another 30 slots for each toon, bringing the total to 1,840.

@Akavir_Sentinel , to the tune of another 1.1 million... (about 140k / character for the last 30)...

    Ouch.

OP I'd consider that you hardly need 80 spots per character for a full stack of everything crafting mat related in the entire game. One character can hold provisioning, one can hold enchanting + alchemy, a third can hold every necessary armor/weapon mat.

Will 30 stacks of anything be worth another million gold? Or perhaps you should occasionally sell something.

(Also, if you have a common guild, you can keep crafting mats in there and have tons of space leftover. Most guildies will help keep it stocked for you, too.)
Just because you don't like the way something is doesn't necessarily make it wrong...
