Yes, combat is too slow and time to kill takes too long, find some middleground between PTS and current live.

    No, combat is now perfect and most fights should take atleast 5 minutes.
    If a fight is taking you 5 minutes you're either not putting out the damage you should be or you're underleveled/need more champion points

    I love it. I think any fight should go on for a good few minutes. We are all supposed to be "the hero" so this only makes fights more exciting and actually feel like a 'fight' between two skilled warriors rather than just killing them in their sleep. Bring on the legendary sword fights!

    Not really, basically anyone with a bit of experience will not die in a 1v1. 1vX is a different situation though.

    What I also keep in mind is that keep fight are going to more painful now, you won't be able to kill someone that's on the wall, which should be possible. Now you have a small chance to kill someone there, or to kill someone from the wall on the ground.

    I think it will help against big zergs a bit more, but it's just not going to work out better for duels, small scaled fight and keeps.

    I don't say it's better now, but as said in the option, I'd very much like to see a middleground between PTS and Live.

    Hmmm so essentially they have increased armor ratings and motion bonus (through converse means)

    I see running away being more viable now (longer to kill, didnt touch HP or armor) I also seeing armor being more important .

    Reduced damage without touching armor means better armor.

    Overall spell power and weapon damage were nerfed on items sets going from 173ish to 121 ish. Jewelry enchants did get a buff going from 65ish to 121ish.

    The new sets have conditional buffs. They are very nicely sized ones but procing them requires effort or luck. I loaded up some dual wield swords v16 swords and didn't notice anything amazing as far as a spell power increase. With full v16 gear molag kena, scathing mage, a will power ring, neck and sword and 2 spell damage enchants on jewelry, I was still at 1790 sp. If I had bothered to trot off to the apprentice mundus stone I am betting I would have hit 2k. Pretty much what I had with my v14 transfer last week.

    The new sets are not magically going to make everybody's damage close to live unless you are King Richard who had a spectacular run on his stream with a bugged armor set last night that was giving him 3.1 to 3.9k spell damage. I haven't had so much fun watching a IC stream since the testing started.

    In short the damage reduction needs to go back down towards 20%. Maybe 35%. I hope they try something like that.

    And how do you know? I'll let you know that ive tested it all, and still find combat too slow.

    The new set's literally came out a day or so ago. No way you have tested every viable build. >:) A lot of these new set's also relie on group play which i doubt you have tested.

    I'm also glad battle's last longer then 5 second's and i'm a nightblade who 1-2 shot's in live. It mean's more diverse build's can be used. Now DoT effect's are useful, HoT's , Slow's and Mobility. They mean so much more now.

    Most of the new sets have roughly the same 234 bonuses and the 5th bonuses are very nichê to say the least. Yes it might get slightly better once your main char is v16 and you got all the sets you want aquired and stats set in stone, but I still foresee it will be too slow (for solo play) after testing one full day with different setups with stats.
