What is with the mouse sensitivity in this game?

When I turn it up, it does a 180/360/720 degree turn with the slightest movement of the mouse.
When I turn it down, it does the same exact thing but requires slightly more movement from the mouse and then it forces you to do 180/360/720 camera rotation.

Is there a fix to this? Please tell me we're not meant to play like this and every player just put up with it?

maybe your mouse is broken? perhaps downgrade to one of them old style ball and wheels mouse instead of a fancy red light doodad mouse.

    I'm using a Logitech G502 Proteus Core

And the mouse is not broken, tbh anyone should know at the given time that their mouse is broken when it is broken since it's the most sensitive component connected the your computer.

In any case, I'm sure I'm not the only one that has this problem, does anyone else use to have it and found a fix?

idk, to tell you the truth I play on PS4 and didnt ever touch the camera/movement sensitivity and its smooth as hell for me. but i know that doesnt apply to you, but maybe try xpadder it out with a controller? or if you still have a old mouse not the ball and wheel kind but just a mouse you dont use anymore see if it still does it?

I haven't messed with the mouse movement ingame before - and had no issues.

Does the cursor movement continue outside the game, if so you may have messed with the dpi of the mouse - my logitech mx850 has default buttons on it to adjust the dpi, if that isn't the case i don't know how to help you. sorry.

I actually found another thread where they had this problem, not much of a solution though. The fourth comment pretty much explains what I just did.

Have you adjusted your sensitivity in game (movement/look/rotation speed?)
Just because you don't like the way something is doesn't necessarily make it wrong...

    Earn it.

IRL'ing for a while for assorted reasons, in forum, and in game.

I'd assume that's the first thing anyone would do before making a thread about it haha.
