Does drain essence and its morphs still damage the target and regenerate stamina? Or is it just providing the 10% per second health regeneration?

    Damage and health, no stamina, but you can use it over, and over, and over against the same target. It comes in quite handy, especially since it can be block cast and builds ultimate with every use.

    And it restores a sweet, sweet percentage when they changed most other returns to flat amounts.

    They really don't want us to regenerate stamina. Lol

    I hope I still find it useful.

    Yeah it's a pretty awesome skill. Vampires are well balanced and fixed with this patch. I love drain essence, mist form and bat swarm. The damage mitigation passive is still broken though but I can live with that.
