No, the root of the problem is Zenimax who consistently fail to fix these bugs promptly after their discovery as well as failing to punish those who choose to use them. The actual root of the exploiter problem is the players. The fact that an exploit is present is something different than actually exploiting it. Especially in the case of the dual Mundus bug, which is hardly something you accidentally run in to like say, Sharpened Maces.

Sure, ZOS needs to be quite a bit better at fixing bugs on time, but this whole discussion would not exist if players just had the spine and especially character to not exploit.

Yes, it's true. But saying that, or the truth, changes nothing. Upright guys condemning cheats will not change the attitude or actions of thousands of players.

Majority of online players will still take advantage of all bugs and broken mechanics to gain advantages, if they know there's no repercussions. If a gaming company and overall attitude allows it, it will be widely spread. This is the current case in ESO.

This *** attitude is born out of ZoS inability to deal with game breaking bugs and exploits. Everything is ok, until patched. It's been like this since launch.

Also the hypocrisy, makes the whole thing so hard to discuss. When guys with 7/7 nirn, sharpened and every cheese in the game keeps raging about Overload toggle or a double mundus, people just start laughing.

You said it yourself...it's a completely different game now than it was back then. If you say LBJ is better than MJ, it's like me saying that Sydney Crosby is better than Wayne Gretzky...I think it's unfair to both athletes that they will be forever compared when it comes to who is better...

Seriously though back on topic...Exploiters...bring out the RAID

I had a character who ended up getting an extra mundus stone affect last week. They weren't using the Twice Born gear either. I sent a /bug report to ZOS immediately when I discovered I had two mundus stones and I was relieved to see that character had just one mundus affect when I logged in today. Still, I played that character for a week and I had no idea how to get rid of this. I'm glad it's fixed now.

Maybe those people who you think are exploiters had a glitch happen that benefits them but they had no idea it would happen. It reminds me of the people who used to have a perma speed buff in Cyrodiil last year which they couldn't remove by themselves and those people were subjected to all sorts of cheating accusations.

There are plenty of honest people who play games and this mindset that everybody is a cheater disgusts me.

Still not fixed in the current Patch on PTS btw.

It's a must have if you care about leaderboards and if you want to get the best results in Cyro. Sure people will alwyys clain the kill others without using these bugs. But if you face the very best players and those guys use those mentioned benefits while you're not - you are toast.

And I think instead of not using it, we should all use it. If no one uses it, ZOS has no intention to fix it fast.

I've got two mundus on my Breton magicka dps Templar
But I'm am in fact using the twice born set, which by the way I get better results in dps than using martial knowledge, the increased health means more points into magicka. I have Mage stone and atronach/apprentice, massive sustain! Without undaunted passives I have 36k magicka 19-20k health and 10.5k Stam with blue food, ST dps 16500 while screwing up rotation!

I guess the question to ask is do you believe two equipment "manager" doofuses manipulated balls without Tom's knowledge? My answer is: not a snowball's chance in fiery hell.

Hard to compare Lebron in the age of zone D to MJ who played in the era of man to man D and could nearly always be isolated. Also keep in mind a legitimate strategy was to beat the crap out of someone until the NBA changed the rules in MJ's favor. The Pistons once had a D strategy called "Jordan Rules" that was basically force him to the middle so Rodman, Lambier and/or Mahorn could sledgehammer him to the floor. Players used to clothesline MJ as their foul... Point being it's pretty hard to make a comparison. I'd take a forward over a guard though, when it comes to a prolific scorer.

As for Magic, magic was always a defensive liability. A big smile seemed to charm people that should have been saying things like "he's a great offensive player, but". Then again, "showtime" didn't include much Defense.

Oh and Double Mundus? It's so trivial you can say big whoop to it. All the sorc cheaters using the overload bug with inner light and armor buff are worse. The artificial lag inducers that pollute Cyrondil and are respected as "great players" because they cheat are the worst though. But the worst of them all are the people that post here talking about fair play and not exploiting because they rock without it, but when you see them in game are cheap exploiting hacks... well, no one abusing double mundus ought even feel slightly bad about it when you have the real exploiters cheating their way to fame (of course only in their minds and the minds of young males who don't sexually identify yet due to never not soloing it).
