Stack Movement Speed Reduction
If I use two or more abilities that reduce movement speed by 40% (or whatever percent), do they stack or is it treated like the Buffs where only one applies? I'm looking at a bow nightblade build that is good at slowing enemies/keeping them away while I rain down arrows and dots. Thanks.

i ask because i notice it does Not stack in pvp AND with sorc they just bolt escape making it useless, dragonights use thier shield ram to close the gap and the templars and nightblades use the 2 hander slam to close the gap also. so it makes it useless in pvp
but in pve, i do see it stack and it works wonders to keep pve enemies OFF and Away from you.0 -

✭Major buffs don't stack with the same name major buff. Minor buffs don't stack with the same name minor buff. Major and minor buffs of the same name do stack. Two skills that both give you Major Expedition would not stack.
For example, I can have The Steed mundus (5%) + Fiord's Legacy (15%) + Retreating Maneuver (40%) and they would stack to give me 60% speed.Edited by Akavir_Sentinel on August 12, 2015 12:10AM1 -
I mostly play PVE.
Also, movement speed reductions aren't a named debuff, thus I don't think the same rules would apply. Using ESOHead, Lotus Fan gives 70%, Mass Hysteria gives 53%, and others give different values. I'm just wondering if I can make a build that stacks these to slow my (PVE) enemies to a crawl.0 -
Skiserony✭✭✭You can, only in PvE it's not laways really effective, know that most bosses have cc immunity and not able to be snared.
In PvP it's really hard to do so, since it's someonse else you play with that reacts, the point you focus too much on slowing your opponent down, you're probably getting killed.0 -
