WHY don't they just add a free respec scroll to everyone's character inventory so they can choose whether they want to respec or not?!?
Indeed. I have a thread on exactly this.WHY don't they just add a free respec scroll to everyone's character inventory so they can choose whether they want to respec or not?!?

I don't care if they do that by giving every character a scroll or just making the next use of a Shrine of Stendarr free, so long as it's free. What makes you think that isn't what they're doing?
@lolzbuckets That's not how they have done it before. Every character on every account gets an immediate, forced skill point reset the first time they log in after the update. This happens regardless of if you want it, and for anyone who didn't know it was coming, may be a bad surprise, as they have had no chance to record their builds.lolzbuckets wrote: »WHY don't they just add a free respec scroll to everyone's character inventory so they can choose whether they want to respec or not?!?
