Stuck in Halls of Submission - Fighters Guild Quest

During the fighters guild quest "Will of the Council", after you choose to keep Sees-All-Colors alive, Aleif spawned 3 portals, I managed to kill and close the first two portals, I killed the third boss on the stairs, and the Blood Font* did not unlock, so I cant interact with it.
Re-logging Did nothing, nothing respawned, only the quest now points to all three portals (two of which aren't there).
There also appears to be no way to leave this dungeon, I cannot leave this dungeon on my map, and dieing and respawning at waypoint goes to the beginning.

Daethz✭✭✭Also, Merric died in the beginning and just sits there being hit by a Dremora and occasionally saying "I have failed you!" He has sat in his one spot the whole time, idk if he is intended to follow and help you, but he did not.Waiting, and watching, for the return of Melee Weapons.

TomLukman✭✭✭My solution: Abandon quest. Start it again, talk to Aelif before entering the portal - this seems to reset the second step. I wasn't able to pick the weapon at the forge but I had to do the 2'nd part all over again. When you decide to kill on not to kill the lizard (doesn't matter which you pick), make sure to kill boss mobs near their portals or you won't be able to close them. Hope it works for you.0 -

Bosses were already defeated (after resetting the quest).
Cant seem to finish this quest then ...0 -
You did a group or alone? How do you kill the boss?
I'm at lvl 41 and I can not kill the boss. She heals completely all the time.Be a person of whom the world is not worthy.0 -
ninjapugSoul ShrivenI too have the same problem. Killed all bosses with my nightblade archer solo. For those having problem against the bosses. Just run into cover and shoot behind it.0 -
flailsmash✭✭I had to leave the quest early. I came back to it and the portal is gone but the quest arrow is still there...
Any ideas? 0
