Obviously I'm not talking about actual mobs, pigs are considered critters, the same as chickens, bantam guar, sheep, deer... etc.
It's clearly an exploit. The Respawn rate is not intended to be that fast.

I hope this gets patched ASAP.

If it is causing people who are trying to quest in the area to crash, then it really does need to be stopped.

lmao there are only 4 pigs. there is no way 60 people would be able to farm them.
because people want refine mats? want them to reduce the respawn rate on ores and flowers too? maybe reduce the amount of nodes that spawn in a zone?
why patch?

How many threads must you make about patching people farming for mats? It's not hurting your gameplay; let them play the way they want.
i can one shot wolves and skeevers, should they patch those too?
AaronLannister wrote: »But in the end, does it affect you at all? This is my question to all you that complain about it. Let them play the game they want. So they get a little gold for their farmed materials. Gold is near useless in this game. I want to make it clear that I don't farm...I prefer to trial/dsa with some moderate pvp.
It hurts the economy so yes and the people who farm without using exploits.

Someone i know has been doing it and he reckons he has 5k scraps from about 2 hours of doing it. He said he was in a group of 18 doing it.
So that's 500 refines.
He has in excess of 75 dreugh wax and God knows how much of everything else.

Negative. 6000 scraps average 30 wax, there are major nerfs in place.

"Oh that guy used a potion at the exact time I wanted him to die" "patch it!!"
"This person is farming" "patch it!!"
"This person stole one of my factions scrolls in pvp" "patch it!!"
Not everything is an exploit just because you didn't think of it first lol. Learn to adapt man

Funniest thing is I see people trying to sell stacks of white meat for 1000 gold. lmao

i dont farm, i hate farming. even when I played WoW i never farmed. I was always the poorest person in our guild because i never farmed. I had to do daily quests to earn money to repair my equipment.
but just to let you know, if they had a zoned or even global auction house (i myself would prefer zoned) there is no way people would be able to sell things over priced since they would be posting items against 1000s of people instead of their guild members of 120 people.
not to mention if you are so hurt about having to buy anything for 10k than dont, go out and farm the mats yourself you lazy bumble bee!

FYI,
I have been crafting all my armor, weapons, glyphs and potions for over a year now, gathering my own mats.
Level 50 in all crafts.
I just think some of the scalpers charge ridiculous prices for items they paid very little in effort for.
I sell in three different guilds at reasonable prices but fear scalpers buy and just resell at inflated prices.
But on the other hand stool pigeons are getting old, guess they always wanted to be rental cops or something.
Ratting on farming exploits is lame, if it was a PvP or PvE scoring exploit that would be another thing.
