Don't attack guards (they can't be killed), run or pay (and lose all your stolen loot).

If it is any consolation, filleting fish was a recent change (June 2015).
I'll start off the list with
- Fillet your "white" fish, sell the non-white fish
- Don't attack guards (they can't be killed), run or pay (and lose all your stolen loot).
- Turn on protect innocents (optional)
- Read the patch notes on the official forums or follow one of the many podcasters, bloggers, and/or streamers to who review the patch notes and comment on the patch notes. Alternately, there are guilds that have websites that forums and such that highlight the changes and discuss them.
Deconstructing gear stored in my bank that was meant for researching. Do it at least once a week...

the item was destroyed and deleted forever. i later realized that i had to 1st click on the "launder item" tabb then launder it, and THEN buy it from the vendor. there is NO "buy item back" tabb
i think thats uncomfortable and basicly not what it should be.

On PS4 they ask when selling items blue or better if that's what you want to do cause it'll be gone forever. And once laundered you don't need to buy it back, its yours from that point on.

Do you know the tip about getting a friend to send you a traited item at the lowest level to research , this would mean you don't have to bank items like that , freeing up valuable bank space ?

You said fillet the white fish and sell the others but do you not have a better chance of getting something better from the rarer ones ? As I said I only found out about filleting last night so I haven't a clue ?

for the rare ones you get the achievement you can not fillet them. they stay in the collectables slot in ur inventory while the white ones are in your consumables part

Once you catch the rare fish, they are checked off on your achievements: no need to keep them. Sell them: They range in the range of 30 to 110g per fish.

I remember getting a few but destroying them because I was filling up on bag space. Later I found you could "use" them - and got a Kuta!
