Inner light animation

Why the light circling me sometimes is visible when the skill is troggled and sometimes dont? Its a bug? Most of times just the blue smoke from my arms is visible.

It seems a stupid question but this mystery is driving me crazy.

Yeah, I believe it's still buggy. If it ever starts to annoy me; to fix it I usually have to use a wayshrine or something that pops a loading screen then re-cast it, lol.

Yeah it happens to me all the time. I know it's a small detail, but it still bothers me so much.

Yeah half the time i just spam inner light to make sure it's still on.

Here is what I have found... the circling light always appears when you are in a dungeon, and will sometimes persist when you leave a dungeon. However, activating it in the outside world doesn't activate the circling light.

Inner light animation is not a problem.
Mages bugging their overload bar to get a free inner light is a problem.

From what I've seen it's not so much an issue of being inside or outside of dungeons as it's an issue with just changing areas all together.

It seems whenever you try to enter or leave an area where you get a load screen the animation bugs out. If you cast Inner Light on yourself and walk into the Mage's Guild, Fighter's Guild, Inn, Bank or any random npc's house the animation is fine. You cast Inner Light on yourself and enter a Delve, Dungeon, Solo Zone, Criminal Hideout or move from one map region to another the animation screws up.

The DK Skill Flames of Oblivion also has the same issue.

Same goes for pvp. If you toggle it on at a keep/outpost you get the disco globe. If you just wait until you get outside the keep/off the front porch of the outpost, then you won't get the disco globe.

Yep, same issue here. Haven't kept exact track of it but seems to be about 50/50 whether it works or not. Really sucks because I like to see the animation.

There's no rhyme or reason for it failing. And, since it's a toggle, sometimes it goes away just by going thru a door. Sometimes it doesn't. You really can't tell unless you look at the glow on your face or use something like Srendarr's to show the active buffs. What a joke. More "quality" from the last name in quality -- Zenimax.

Ok. I don't want to see the disco ball animation. Prior to 2.1 if I set the animation to off, it did not show up most of the time except in dungeons and near keeps/outposts in pvp. Now I can't get rid of it.

Anybody had any success in getting rid of the stupid glowing ball animation?

I really wish the glowing ball could be toggled off or something. I can't stand the way it looks. It's so distracting I've had to stop using the ability entirely.

You guys need to report a ticket. If more bring it to ZOS attention, they will fix.

I opened a ticket on the animation of Inner Light on PS4 disappearing and appearing, and they said thanks for letting them know. They had no idea this was occuring on PS4. They would look into it.

It sounds like a number of people are experiencing the same thing.

We have support links for a reason, doesn't take long to open a help ticket.

There IS a toggle, but it doesn't work.
I can't stand that thing either..
