Just curious because the timings don't seem to work right, when the first mini bosses spawn instead of resetting to 85, it stays at 55.. etc...

Btw im on console so one of use needs to use a phone timer.

Anyone done this on console and could help with the timings?

No, I'm not playing on console but I will still tell you what we did on PC when we started with DSA.

Don't rely on timers. Seriously. Just play the boss until you get a feeling for the spawn times. Sure you will die at the beginning because you will probably judge wrong but in the long run it is far easier and more comfortable than to rely on timers. Also makes it easier if you play with other groups.

I'd rather rely on timers, 'feeling it' will cause too many wipes.

    So very true.

Here are the basic facts about his fire marks ("splits"):
    A. There's a separate timer for each phase (100%, 75%, 50%, 25%).
    B. When Hiath starts a new phase (summoning adds at 75%, inhaling at 50% and 25%), this refreshes the existing timer.
    C. After Hiath actually casts a mark, it resets the timer based on the current phase.

What you are observing is due to rules B and C above. Between 100-75% health, Hiath does a mark every 50-55 seconds; when he enters the next phase, this refreshes that same timer. It's not till he does a fire mark during the 75-51% phase that the game sets the next timer to 85 seconds (because he's now in the 75% phase).

There are many options to handling this phase without tracking timers. When the two adds appear at 75%, his next fire mark will be ~5 seconds after the summoner portals appear on the north side. (The ones in SW corner appear immediately at 75%, and the ones on east side appear shortly thereafter.)

Depending on your group's DPS, you can do one of several things to handle the 75% phase:
    1. Burn down mage before summoners appear, then have off-tank taunt the fighter while main tank takes Hiath to opposite end of room.
    2. Burn down both adds before summoners appear, then main tank splits. (Of course your DPS will sit around doing nothing for 15 seconds. It shouldn't take them long to kill the summoners.)
    3. Burn down both adds and also drop Hiath to 50%, resetting his existing timer yet again. (Watch our for Champion Marcauld's healing circle.)
    4. Have main tank taunt both adds and run them to opposite end of room while off-tank takes over Hiath. The 3-man team burns him down to 0%. Note:The main tank may need to return after the 50% inhale in order to taunt the second 2 adds, but if the 3-man team's DPS is high enough, you can burn Hiath from 50% to 25% before these adds spawn and you skip them.
    5. Other crazy tactics best left to players having some experience with Hiath.
