Go into your console's settings. Manually set up your network. The only thing you need to to tinker with is DNS settings. You can use Google's, simply enter these two numbers:

8.8.8.8
8.8.4.4

It appears that the ISP has been the problem for many users, so switch your DNS Server!

    Willing to bet its Comcast?

Over last month they had nothing but DNS issues. Such a lousy company.

Only input I have is I use Google DNS or alternate OpenDNS and was having same issues.
It is a good suggestion though, I never use ISP DNS.

When are you people going to get it? It's not a problem on our end. ZOS is either being hit with a DDoS or they've screwed up their NA servers for PS4 and Xbox One. Changing your IP isn't going to help (may as well do a rain dance while you're at it).

No one said anything about changing an IP. Thanks for speaking so definitively, authoritatively, and knowledgeably. Please, always chime in with such insight!

I'm just sharing what worked for me. It may work for someone else out there as well.

it's nice of you to find a fix, shame ZOS can't do the same thing!

If this were true, everyone would be having an issue. I did not, and Xbox NA was still highly populated all weekend. I also don't have Comcast. The OP suggestion is a good one when you have a provider that is having issues with its DNS server. You can either try it or keep complaining.

Too many people across the country are having this issue for it to be DNS Servers.

I'm not going to take that bet. I have Comcast and had zero problems playing Smite on Xbox and using the Internet on my computer. The ONLY issue I had was trying to play ESO. When Comcast has an issue, I can't use ANYTHING. Even my TV channels go out.

DNS server issues will affect all users on a particular ISP. They will have issues browsing and gaming. I know the OP suggestion works. I used it to help a coworker with comcast yesterday (thanks OP), because the same method can be used on a PC.

i tried switching the DNS as well and it did not fix the problem, but we did notice that Vulkhel Guard was a ghost town compared to what it normally is on the weekends. it is apparently affecting a lot of people but not everyone.

My wife and i can only play on the weekends. we were able to get on Saturday morning with no problems...until we traveled. Then everything when bat****. Being stuck in a delve for 3 hours was sort of annoying. However i was put in a better mood when i finally escaped and went to wolf form for a bit. the white-screen background showing my wolf in a constant fall had me laughing for a good 5 minutes. then......kicked to start screen. ah well maybe it's a sign to get some sunlight for a little while.

When i saw the forum post about changing the DNS server i figured i would give it a try but i couldn't see how that could change anything since it obviously found the IP without any hitches the first time.

Thanks for the suggestion, OP, but i think that only fixes the issue for some. still don't see how though, unless ZOS is changing their server domain name and IP address every 5 seconds.
