Veteran Rank 16

When I heard that they were going to increase the level cap, I instantly knew that I wouldn't like it. I have made three accounts and the highest level is VR 2! I myself am surprised how any body can have 10 accounts at VR 14. It takes so much time and effort to reach the level cap, and sometimes I wish that they just made the level cap 50, so Champion Points make each player different, not VRs. It would be so much better losing to a guy the same as my level, and seeing that "oh, i lost because maybe he outplayed me", and not because he was 12 Veteran Ranks higher.

I really bought ESO to play PvP, but the quest grind to VR 14 (16 now) makes this game lame and repetitive to me.

    Welcome to MMOS.

Why would you have 3 accounts? Surely leveling one char to VR14 is wiser. I don't see how someone who hasn't put much time into the game can complain about higher level players besting them in pvp.. That's fairly obvious in any mmo. Quest/Grind to get VR14 then PVP.

That's true in some ways. However with the level raise to v16, the amount of exp you gain in most of the vet areas is increased, and they lowered the amount of exp required to level as as vet is decreased, and as far as pvp you are now battle leveled the same way you were as a non vet to reduce the power gap. You'll still get stomped by ppl who have no life and have grinded out 500cp+ but it makes things better at least.

Now that Battle Levelling is going to apply to all characters below VR14, that should help the balance a bit.

It is easier than ever to level now with xp boosters, and they are reducing the required xp for VR.

Yup. So it will be easy mode for the people who are complaining.

it's quite easy to level as it is.

    1-50 takes 14hrs

1 vet rank takes 2 hours pr

Going to add 6~ hrs for main story quests

    14 + 28 + 6 = 58 hours from lvl 3 to vet 14.
    PS4 EU DC

    Current CP : 756+

I have every character level 50, both a magicka and stamina version.

RIP my effort to get 5x v16 characters...

How could you possibly think cp's give less of an advantage than vet levels? Vet levels give at most a bonus of 1554 points to any of your three major resource pools, 14 skill points, and access to different gear. Champion points can give anywhere from 13-33 percent boosts to almost every single aspect of your character. Armor pen, crit chance, magic damage, poison resistance...the list goes on. I can understand not being able to enjoy the mundane quests and I wish pvp was a more viable way to level, but let's not pretend vet ranks are what upset the power balance. You are right on one thing, instead of saying "I lost because he was a few levels ahead of me", you'll be saying "I lost because he has a few 100 champion points on me". To compare it takes 13,000,000 xp to get from vet 1 to vet 14. On the other hand, it takes 1,440,000,000 xp to reach the cp cap. Assuming you gained xp at a steady rate, it'd take 110x longer for you to be on equal standing with the cp system as opposed to the champion system. It still amazes me that ZOS would implement a system like this into an mmo, a genre which by its very nature, must survive on how long it can minimize the effects of power creep.

Battle leveling for pve content defeats the idea of progression. Remove CP
