Since console launch I've played a lot of ESO and stupidly brought too many crowns. There are a number of issues posted in this forum that are extremely frustrating a ruining enjoyment for a number of players. In most threads there's no ZoS response and in the ones that have one, either the blame is being shifted to Sony, the player's equiptment or they're just asking for information.
I understand that ZoS needs this information, but this far into release what I would of expected from ZoS would be to publicly acknowledge the existence of a variety of defects and issues and an indication as to whether or not they're looking into them.
As it stands, myself and other users have reported the following issues:
- CE-34878-0 - ZoS response: contact Sony....
- Unable to connect to game server. Please make sure you have a valid internet connection - ZoS response: provide more information
- PvP lag/general lag/disconnects - ZoS response: You must be using WiFi in one thread, other major threads have no response at all
These 3 issues are experienced alone or all at some time for many users, at this point in time ZoS have done nothing to reassure the community that they have a handle on things, either they are trying to ignore the issue hoping it goes away, are disconnected with the player base/bad a communicating, or genuinely think it's the player's issue.. possibly a combination.
Either way this is simply unacceptable, either they are aware and aren't telling us, or are aware and fixing it but not communicating it.
Every user paid money to play this game and I think the user's who are having issues are probably at a point where they're getting fed up. All I ask is for proper communication, and to acknowledge the issues. Admitting something is wrong I'm okay with, but ignoring it is not acceptable for a company of this size.
