There needs to be a RL recipe for Two-Moon Cordial

For those of you wondering, it was mentioned by our friend Pacrooti in this week's Loremaster's Archive. There is not, to my knowledge, a recipe for this in-game, and it sounded good so of course I thought there should be a real life recipe for this!

It's in a shot glass, so I'm thinking Bailey's for Jone/Secunda and...my knowledge of alcohol is too limited to think of a good variety of liquor that's red for Jode/Masser. Anyone got a suggestion? It should also probably be sweet, because Khajiit, but that's not a requirement. Maybe add a sprinkling of brown sugar to the mix, because I don't know of a real life equivalent for Moon Sugar, whereas brown sugar is tasty and readily available.

I am not a well-versed bartender, but I have a friend who is, so I'll have him take a look and get back with you.

Considering that cordials themselves are generally sweet liquors, though, I think you're spot-on about it having a sweetness to it...perhaps almost excessively so.

In the meantime, you might take a gander at these Skyrim-based cocktails from FeastyGeeks if you haven't already (there are a lot of sites that cater to game-related cooking and they're pretty awesome...Gourmet Gaming has a great sweetroll recipe).

Edit: Adding that, after a quick Google search, apparently the "cordial" section of a liquor store will generally have a generous selection of red-colored liquors. There's also something called "Chambord" which is a dark red and raspberry flavored.

Ingredients:

One Shot Bailey's Irish Cream
One Shot FireWater (100 Proof Cinnamon Schnappes)
Blue & Red Colored Granulated Sugar (Mixed together in equal portions.)

Mixing:

Pour One Shot Firewater into a bourbon glass.
Hold a spoon inverted slightly above the firwewater and slowely pour One Shot Bailey's Irish Cream over the spoon so that the Bailey's "floats" on top of the Firewater.
Add a spirnkling of the Colored Sugar to the top for "flair".

Serving:

Drink in one gulp...and enjoy.

I am disappointed to report that adding brown sugar to Bailey's just made some sludgy goo at the bottom and added nothing as far as flavor.
