Secure Connection Failed - Can't access my Account

Ok, i am trying to go to my account by selecting it from Launcher, and also from Website. Also from In-Game to purchase some Crowns, and i keep getting that same error of Secure Connection Failed.

An error occurred during a connection to account.elderscrollsonline.com. Cannot communicate securely with peer: no common encryption algorithm(s). (Error code: ssl_error_no_cypher_overlap)

The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.

What this this mean? My browser is Firefox. Is anyone else getting these issues? It worked yesterday and today, it doesn't seem to work at all. /sigh

Looks like a website certificate issue. What is your browser security set at?

If your browser security is set to a certain level will warn against certificate credential errors etc ... if the website has expired or other issues with the certificates

We are aware of some website issues last night that were preventing players from logging into their account page. It should be resolved at this time. Are you still experiencing this error or has it since resolved?

Yes, i am still having the same issues. I am using Firefox. It works through Windows Explorer, but i dont like that browser due to other issues. Would re-installing Firefox help? I think my security issues are set to Medium.

15 June 2015, having the same issue using the latest Firefox (38.0.5).

Can't access any secure portion of the site using HTTPS:

Yep, after a week, i still cant access my account via Firefox either. I've never had issues until about a week ago.

The problem is with the security of the server. It uses the RC4 single encryption cipher, which is being blocked by several main stream browsers.

The Internet Engineering Task Force issued RFC 7465 in which they state to prohibit using the RC4 cipher suite. This because it's possible to break this cipher.

This is why some browsers, such as Firefox, Pale Moon and even some Internet Explorer versions, possibly also Edge, actively block the site. It's just not secure enough anymore. Zos has to update it.

I warned the Help Desk about this last night, they answered me that I should report this via the forums.
