Templar - Best DPS Weapon?

Hey all,
I'm looking to make a Breton or Dunmer Magicka DPS Templar. I have decided on Resto for my second bar but I cannot decide on the first. I've heard that 2H is decent and has good utility, dual wield helps with crit, and staff is overall pretty solid. Any help is appreciated (:
