Molag Bal [Potential Spoilers!!!]

[TLDR] So I've just beat the absolute panties off of Molag Bal, probably the easiest boss I have come across in ESO.

There I was marching up to the final boss fight of the main quest line, gear is all repaired, weapons fully charged. I even had a good number of soul gems and repair kits with the expectation that I would need them.

The girlfriend is sitting next to me on the sofa, she knows whats about to go down, she knows not to bother me for at least the next half hour.

I sit up straight - alert like a meerkat.

There he is, the almighty MOLAG BAL. I look up at the great size of him, knowing that this will be an epic battle....

So then for some reason some genius decided it would be super cool to bring him down a few pegs. Sure he's a little taller than me, but he suddenly seems beatable.

And how right I was. Molag Bal has the most predictable combat mechanics of any enemy (that I can remember) I have fought in ESO. In fact I can't remember the last time I played a game with such predictable mechanics since Ripper Roo in Crash Bandicoot!

I find the Harvesters in ESO more of a pain in the bum than Mr Bal.

I think it goes without saying that I didn't die - but I hardly even lost any bloomin health! I know the VR content will be challenging, but I thought the final boss in the main quest would knock me around a few times.

Molag Bal probably would have made for an interesting tutorial fight...

I've previously moaned about how easy mannimarco was to beat, I was told he was nerfed because of people crying about dying a couple of times. It really bugs me that this game is being made easier because some people are impatient and CBA to put some effort in to anything other than grinding to a point where they can show how big their VR testies are.

Aaaaaaand discuss?

PS: And by butt naked i mean my in-game character being naked, not me naked in front of the computer.

I don't suppose that made it more of a challenge? I kinda wish ESO had unarmed combat - beat Molag Bal in a boxing match!

I have taken on Molag Bal at various times. From back when he was a boss to be worried about, to post nerfs. He has gotten a little too easy.

On the other hand, TES Final Bosses have never been a big deal to defeat once you get in front of them. The challenge was always getting to the final boss battle.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

PakKat "Everything was going well, until I died"
Gary Gravestink "I am glad you died, I needed the help"

@Nestor Yeah that's kinda true. I remember all those years ago I was strolling around in TES III Morrowind, I stumbled upon Vivec completely out of the blue while exploring his city. I decided to attack him, ultimately severing the prophecy, I don't remember that being particularly difficult lol.

Yes, it adds some extra challenge to the fight.

And you can go unarmed and throw punches but i doubt that would get you far.
