I just updated to windows 10 and now the game crashes as soon as I login to the game, everything else worked fine when I played yesterday on windows 7. So can a fix be made for the game to work with windows 10?

    try.

Download the launcher and just install the client launcher in the game folder .
Do not forget to delete the launcher files before installation!

Windows 10 works great... have you updated all your drivers?

Not every PC works the same, lets not forget. I have strange issues myself here and there after upgrading. What I experience is things suddenly become slow and unresponsive for a few minutes.

My friend had this issue, drivers update didn't do for him but he reinstalled the game and it worked. I would love to have a solution that doesn't require that but in the very end at least it worked.

Best of luck resolving your issue.

I agree, but anyone running ESO fine on windows 7/8.1 should be able to run it on windows 10, as long as everything is up to date - when I upgraded it replaced my AMD drivers with a windows driver it had to download in windows update, and I had to uninstall/reinstall the latest catalyst.

Yea me too. Now I realize 'Overwolf' is what is being slow and sluggish.

There is an option to roll back to windows 8 for one month. After installing Nvidia drivers mine has worked ok.

My game crashes a lot more since I upgraded. I have tried repairing the game, don't know yet if that will work.

Not having had any trouble at all here in Windows 10, if anything the game runs slightly better

Its possible instead of upgrading to windows 10 you should clean install windows 10. I did this and everything seems to run better, not just ESO.

    For those getting consistent disconnects:

Try updating your Network Card Driver.... that did the trick for me. I was having disconnects as if my internet was going on/off, I updated it to one that the company issued specifically for Windows 10 and that did the trick.

Once that was out of the way, it's been performing better than ever (although I was fine on Windows 8.1, but I must say I'm impressed with Windows 10 all around).

Windows 10 has loads of issues. I am the lead IT specialist at an IT firm in NC. A few clients of ours who decided to go from 7 to 10 (nobody liked 8 due to the amount of time it took to navigate to programs due to no start menu) and many programs do not work correctly or at all in 10. We have our Microsoft representative involved, but 10 is NOT ready for prime-time just yet. This does mean that while the software (ESO) may run fine on one hardware configuration, it may fail on another. I do not blame Zenimax for this. Especially since 10 just hit the street.
