Are CE treasure maps usable in Caldwell's silver-gold?

As the title says, is it possible to use the CE treasure maps to get veteran level gear from the treasures?

✭✭✭✭✭And if you're thinking about grinding CP points, you might want to hold off on using the maps just yet as there is a CP passive that will increase the loot from treasure maps.

Yeah, the no malachite part is disappointing. That said they will be getting two more blues (for a total of 4) under 1.7, and the improvement to drop gear means, if you're not crafting your own equipment, it's not as terrible a deal as it once was.0
