Heys guys can anyone explain me how Mages Fury actually work when an enemy (or bosses) hits 20% or less? I saw some mages spamming this when an enemy got low health.

thanks in advance

This spell is amazing. Casting it does a little damage to the target initially, but if they fall below 20% health within 4 secs it will explode with a massive amount of damage, usually killing the enemy in the process while also dealing damage to surrounding enemies.

That move is considered a finisher.

It has a special function on it when an enemy gets below 20% health within 4 seconds of the move hitting them it will proc it effect, which in this case is extra dps.

Basically during a boss fight, whenever the boss gets below or equal to that 20% health mark, spamming that move will automatically trigger the boss damage.

It's an extremely nice way to finish a boss off, and regular mobs (it also causes a splash damage so nearby enemies will take some damage whenever this procs)

@CheeseDivinity @srs121 thanks, but whats about using it on bosses? Does the exploding effect procc every time when casting this on an enemy (boss) below 20% of health?

Yep, it will still proc on bosses below 20%. It may not kill them instantly like normal enemies, but it will cut a huge whole in them.

Yes you can repeat this move as many times as it takes and as long as it is under the 20% mark it wil, trigger the proc and do the extra damage.

If you found this helpful, giving a insightful remark on my original post would be greatly appreciated

This is spell is far from being amazing though. Don't know, if any other Sorerer ability is that lackluster.

The skill is pretty well designed but poorly executed, no pun inteneded.
The delay after the cast, the hit and the proc make it an average execute, especially when you need to cast it multiple times.

The morphs are also pretty useless imo, mages wrath give a little more aoe dmg after the proc, which is useless on single target bosses because the proc itself isnt hitting harder. Endless fury gives magicka back after killing the target, which also makes is useless on bosses.

I can agree with that in totality. It's a useful spell, but sometimes I stand there wondering if it will proc, then a second later BLAST. Casting it multiple times with said delay certainly adds up.

The delay is actually so bad it doesnt increase my dps in the execute phase, my normal rotation is a little more work than spamming a single skill but the dps is lacking.

I would like to see mages wrath changed so that it leaves a DoT for 5-8 seconds after the explosion has procced, this DoT needs to stacks with itselfs so the execute damage is higher than a normal damage rotation. This will make it very useful during longer exexution phases.

Endless fury could be changed so it gives back magicka on proc instead off when the target dies, the value of magicka return should probably be decreased by around 50-70% to balance it out.
