No crowns, but ESO Plus Membership buff is active.

14 hours ago I has purchased an ESO+ membership. The buff is now active which does show the purchase has come through from the XBox store, yet after I had enquired in support, I had received this in reply:

Purchased ESO+ with buff now in effect, but no crowns from purchase obtained on account xxx (xxx@xxx.com)

Now I understand the need for waiting for payment to clear and the offering of contact details to the XBox live support, but in a scenario where the payment and purchase has been processed and active in-game, I fail to see how contacting the XBox live support will help in an incomplete order where the 1500 crowns are not supplied with the active buff when both are in the package.

Rather frustrating after reading of people getting stuffed around in this exact fashion palming the problem through to Microsoft, only to be informed that the order has been completed and the problem is now onto Zenimax, though the same steps are covered.

    Taking a look, I do show that you currently have ESO Plus, but I'm not showing that you were billed for a subscription in the last thirty days - I would suggest contacting Microsoft to investigate the issue, as they handle all the billing aspects for our game. :)

    As soon as the subscription renews and you are billed, you should receive your monthly Crowns. You'll want to ask when your subscription is scheduled to renew; from what I'm seeing on my end, it should have, but it hasn't yet.


    As an online customer, having to provide proof of purchase (of which I have sent bank statements, XBox Live Dashboard and purchase confirmation email) is not how this should work. Loyal customers should not be needing to run through these hoops to pay for your services and I highly suggest sorting your procedures/communication through the XBox store so this doesn't happen. Keep in mind this is a purchase, "not" a renewal.
