So im having trouble leveling up, just got veteran rank 1 and was wondering what the most viable option was to level. Just a side note i hate questing and it was like pulling teeth getting to v1 to start with. Im EP and a nightblade if that helps.

The best way to level up is to do quests.
There are also options to buy exp scrolls and find a place to grind for days-weeks but I'm not sure of those spots so I'd just suggest questing so u get the skill points.

Group content would help, just hope and pray you aren't on the console version though because you will be waiting for hours to group up due to the lack of a text chat

If you want to level quickly just grind. Its probly 5xs faster then questing and you'll get alot better loot.

Tons of grinding guide on google. 1 vr takes about 2 hrs grinding with an xp pot for me.

yea im console, and i am in no shape form or fashion interested in questing. i could careless about skill points if it means i have to quest, i may come back for them later but my main priority is to get levels right now.

Grinding with an XP potion/scroll is immensely faster than questing. A guy in this thread mentioned he can get a VR in 2 hours. I regularly get a VR in one hour. Find a decent aoe build, find a decent aoe spot, and go for it.

I'm AD, so I know good spots to farm in the EP and DC areas, but I don't know about the AD area. In the DC area, there's a spot in Alik'r Desert, north of Sentinel. I can regularly get between 800,000 - 1million xp per hour there. And the nice thing is that this game allows cooperative grinding. Even if you're not in a group, if everyone hits the mobs everyone will get some xp. But grouping is still better.

You hate questing? There's an RPG in MMORPG for a reason. I guess if all you want to do is grind then I'd find a small group , a good grind spot, and go at it for a few hours. I leveled to V1 in a couple of days just grinding with 2 guys(wait, did I just say that?), it was horribly boring and I've been doing Cadwell's gold and silver to level my alts ever since.

And the role I wanna play is a badass who spends his nights slaughtering hordes of zombies. But hey, if the role you wanna play is being a patsy that sacrifices his life for the sake of some inbred king, go for it. You'll never hear me complain about how you choose to play.

I'm more of an end game player, love to do endgame content but hate getting there. Been that way with every mmorpg I've played. I'm ADD and get bored and distracted easily on the way there.

Funny comments. Had to come n read them all.

Hope you find your way whether it's grinding or what not
Seems you'll be buying some crowns tho. Go ahead and get 10,000 which will give you 5 scrolls per 1,000 crowns.

    Enjoy

Youtube has video's from how to milk a cow, to how to grind in ESO. Maybe you should look in that direction for grinding spots, or cow milking spots.
This post will not take you an unusually long time to read.

I hit VR1 not long ago too. As already stated, quests are your best bet. I'm doing Cadwell's silver quest at the moment and up to Reaper's March, which is the last part I think. I'm 3/4 the way to VR2.. had I'd use exp boosts I'd probably already be there. So if you got the crowns - invest in these. I bloody wish I did.

EAsiest way to do it, is push through the core quests in Cadwells Silver, then get a friend to TP you in to higher zones and go killing things :)

If you are v1 killing v5 mobs with an XP pot, you'll soon start racking up the levels. There are plenty of spots all around silver and gold that can generate 4-500k xp per hour easy :)

Questing is sooooooooooo much slower than grinding. Just saying. They fixing this next patch as everyone knows. lol to anyone who says otherwise.

But unfortunately the most efficient way to grind is to finish Cadwells Silver quests so you can grind your v10 zone. When done right, with xp pots and a friend, lvl 1-50 15 hrs, Cadwells 8 hrs, v1-14 14 hrs.

Edit: and you'll have enough skill points with just levels, Cadwells Silver and eventually the dungeons so don't worry about that. You can always hunt skyshards if you need more too. This excludes crafting all the professions that's a different story.

Yea I seen in the update your supposed to get 50% more exp from quests and I think 100% more from dungeons. Did grinding last night and got to vet 2, there's so many people in the grinding areas that it's difficult sometimes. May just switch back and fourth between grinding and questing
