Best Light Armor for a LvL 11?

So Im trying to craft my own armor and I have every crafting writ. What material do I need to make atleast Light Armor and where do I get it from. I now materials are scatterd throughout the world of Tamriel. I have some very good armor but it is unlocked until level 16. Any tips,hints or help?

I, personally, wouldn't worry about using or making crafted armor for my level, at level 11. Continue to do quests and loot mobs to obtain your armor. Worry about crafting your own armor when you're going to be stuck on a single level for a long period of time (due to the amount of XP it will take to advance to the next level).

If you insist on using your own crafted armor, then at level 11, for light armor, I believe it is Jute that you need to find. You can either find raw Jute spread through the world, as you said, and you "harvest" it. After having 10 raw Jute, you can "refine" them to make Jute something or other (which is what you need to craft items). Please keep in mind, Jute is the lowest level material for crafting LIGHT armor. In order to change the item level, use the arrows underneath of Jute to increase or decrease the item level you wish to create (increasing the item level will require more Jute, and vise versa).

If your set on "light" armor, have a crafter make you a set of 5 Seducer and 2-4 Magnus in either white or green items. This is one of the best combo sets to use for magicka squishies. A green set would last you to level 20-25 and then you could get an upgrade. These sets are 6 trait armor/weapon sets so it's doubtful you can make these yet. You have to research 6 traits on each item to be able to craft them. One of the best things to do is get a couple pieces with Training and the rest with Exploration. Training increases your skill in that armor type and Exploration gives you more experience for what you discover.

Also get a medium and heavy armor piece with training and then 5 light pieces. This will allow you to train in all armor types at the same time.

Seducer is 3 Traits, Magnus is 4.

However Torugs Pack takes 3, and Ashen Grip takes 2 and those are nice to use with Seducer until you can get Magnus.

Yeah, I was at work and couldn't remember. I was also too lazy to look them up at the time... DOH!
