✭✭The only stories you'll get from crafting are from your hirelings. They have quite the tales to tell in their delivery letters.
But no, there aren't any crafting story quests or anything. There's sort of a story with the crafting writs, in that you're helping your alliance war effort, for example, when turning in the writs in your alliance zones.0 -

✭No stories for crafting other than in the hireling emails as @Jayne_Doe mentioned. You can't specialize in a certain area either for extra bonuses like armorsmith or weaponsmith. No quests either than I recall that deal with crafting things which is a let down as they could have incorporated those things into the game and made crafting a lot more fun.NA Server - Kildair0 -

The Fighters Guild has a quest involving actual crafting.0
