l_Neal_l18l_l
Hi im on xbone rislav AD and I got a problem we own everything in here and I'm leading the leader boards for emperor but I can't claim it because the current emperor can't be deposed we own all six keeps but we never lose them and I just wanna know how long can a emperor reign till she's deposed? Without losing the six forts in the middle

Indeed then the current emperor will never be deposed

So what you are saying is I'm wasting my time trying to depose an emperor that will never be deposed

A player becomes emperor whe his faction captures all six keeps around the central lake. He will stay emperor as long as his faction continues to control at least one of those keeps. He loses his emperorship as soon as the last central keep his faction controls falls into enemy hands.

You will only become emperor if your faction loses all six central keeps, and then recaptures them while you still top the board.

Them empress will be dethroned once the keeps are lost or she leaves the campaign, thats about it

PC has seen emperors and empresses reign for 2 months straight at times.

You could always join one of the other sides and become emperor that way :)

Console players are all fairly new to the game, so it will be easier to hold the emperor keeps. So to start with the emperor reigns will be quite long. What I've noticed though is as time goes on, the player base gets smarter and holding the keeps gets harder.

When the game first launched good players as emperors could reign for a long time as they could slay all the noobs without anyone knowing how to counter them. Now days, an organised 60 man enemy zerg will show up and the emperor will die from trample damage and flags will just flip from lag so it's more common to see 1-2 day reigns on PC rather than 30.

    What a broken system

the idea is that the other 2 factions sould be teaming up to dethrone the emp. it does not matter who owns the keeps only that the current emp does not own a single one of the 6.

4-6 hours is more realistic lately. 1-2 days requires a whole factional presence to actively patrol the map 24/7

Ive seen (and been a part of) emp depositions that can happen in 30 minutes or so from all six keeps being held. Just takes one solid raid at an opportune time (off peak hours, when the emp group is on a trials run, during Game of Thrones - seriously this one has worked twice now, and when its a nobody emp we know just farmed up to *** off their faction that somehow got crowned and the faction makes it obvious they arent defending, etc) or be in AD and just bring the whole zerg to a campaign and do whatever because keep flag mechanics are BS.

My last emp run was about 4 hours long during primetime on Haderus and over 70 yellows guested in from Azuras and Thornblade to depose me, literally nothing I could do, even with a 24 man of people used to defending emp keeps, i mean what the actual f--- ? Two of those keeps had me and others alive on the flags when they flipped, as per usual.

My reign shall be until I get bored then probably still be reigning. But on a serious note it's actually a good system, it prevents emperor farming, swaping and it should be more than just being in first place. Also it's your alliance that really decides how long you reign

By systematically destroying PvP on a campaign endlessly until everyone else leaves and the campaign dies.... until a savior comes to liberate it (and usually the entire faction that was then deposed gives up within 2 days and goes elsewhere because its not fair that PvP maps should have enemies on them)

Enough QQ about that, had you not turtled instead of actually trying to defend you Empororship maybe you could have held it longer. BTW we had no idea you were emp when we switched campaigns. We were just tired of the lag and Haderus was the only other campaign with any pop.

I think Sura reigned on Haderus for 3 months. He could have held on to it but I think he just got tired in the end of maintaining #1 and in the end the week he was finally dethroned I ended claiming the crown for another 3 weeks or so before tiring on the same thing. I think he played as Emperor for so long that when finally ended up having to play as a "normal" player again he couldn't adjust to it and signed on less and less frequently before quitting completely.

I had a difficult time adjusting back to normalcy myself so if you're a reigning emp for a long period of time be warned.....it's not very easy to be killed by groups of people you used to destroy as Emp and still go on enjoying the game.
