How to Remove Home/Guest Campaign in PvP

Is it only possible to change your Home/Guest campaign to another campaign or can you remove yourself from the campaigns all together? I've tried switching one of my characters to another campaign only to have the game tell me I have another character of an opposing faction in that campaign; but given how many characters I have and how few campaigns there are I am either missing something (I don't understand) or there is a serious flaw that needs to be addressed.

Originally there were enough campaigns to shuffle home/guest around as needed - but not anymore.
Ultimately you are screwed now if you have too many chars in different alliances and can never again change any assignments.
Luckily at this time you can at least enter which ever campaign you want: "travel to" a group/guild member who is already there.
And Ib4 someone comes in with "faction loyalty" or any other creative crap ideas why this needs to go, too: ** ******.5

Gedalya✭✭✭✭✭Wow, this really needs to be fixed. I don't understand why you can't have multiple characters on the same campaign; even on opposing factions. Any benefits strike me as specious.0

Ravens-Sonata✭✭✭So .. if Im understanding this - You cant remove Home campaign at all??? I typically dont join alliance/PvP, but have set Chillrend as I sometimes go into the delves or Fighter guild bounties. I constantly have these announcement banners going across the center of my screen which is irritating. I just checked, the campaign in in 13 days, I deliberately havent logged this particular char in as before it was campaign ends in 6 days, so I thought at that time I could either change/remove it as being Home campaign. Unfortunately I cant seem to get it to change and these banners are so irritating especially when they scroll across the screen when in a battle. Any Ideas???0 -

If your on the PC, get the Addon "No, Thank You" and you wont' see those scroll messages every again.
