Map/fast travel bug

So someone in my guild is having trouble with the fast travel/map system in this game. They've been having this problem since day 1. I can bring up my map in game and fast travel to any wayshrine at any time (for a fee of course). My guildmate cannot do this. They bring up the map and they can't even see the wayshrines. The only way they can see the wayshrines is if they find a wayshrine and press A on it. Then they can see all the wayshrines in the area and can fast travel to one. They've emailed Bethesda about this but so far they've gotten no response, so I thought I'd try posting here for them. Anyone have any ideas?

Infinite12✭✭✭✭Bump + an update. So my guild member, when she pulls up her map she can't see any wayshrines at all. Only when she's AT a wayshrine do wayshrines appear on her map. But, she recently created a character for her daughter to mess around with and today she was helping her daughter do something in game and when she pulled up the map for her daughter's character the wayshrines were there. She could fast travel from anywhere. But on her own character, still no wayshrines lol. Any ideas?[GT: INFINITE12] XB1 I NA I DC PRIMARILY I

Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.***Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.

I had the same problem never will get any help start a new charector, my first character had so many bugs alot wouldnt believe 50% of my bugs unless they had same issue. Started a new charector cause i realized i messed up my build. Now i rarely have issues. in the end there better off doing it sooner more things will keep disapeering from there map or in the middle of combat if its the same issues i had
was tottaly worth the bs of restarting
